Washington DC Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference Solemnly Commences, Falun Gong Founder Attends in Person and Gives Speech

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 22, 2002, the series of activities hosted by Washington DC Falun Gong practitioners, "Together to end the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China," entered the third day. Over two thousand Falun Gong practitioners from all over the world gathered at Constitution Hall for the Washington DC Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference. During the conference, more than ten Falun Gong practitioners shared their insights regarding how to clarify the truth in a deeper and more refined way to the people of the world, especially the precious Chinese people, using different ways to promote Dafa, and other Dafa work such as clarifying the truth to government officials.

During the conference, Taiwan's Head of the Executive Council sent his congratulations and wishes for the complete success of the conference. Dafa disciples from Mainland China and Russia sent congratulatory letters, expressing their determination to follow the Fa-rectification closely and improve as a whole. The state of Maryland's House of Representatives passed a resolution to show their support of Falun Gong.

At 11:15 a.m., the founder of Falun Gong, Mr. Li Hongzhi, came to the conference site in person to visit with the disciples gathered there, and the entire body of Dafa disciples present showed their respect with a warm standing ovation. Mr. Li Hongzhi gave a brief Fa lecture, teaching the disciples that in the process of clarifying the truth, they cannot stop at having compassion towards sentient beings, but also must be compassionate towards their fellow disciples and walk each of their own paths righteously. Mr. Li Hongzhi also expressed his appreciation towards the American people, Representatives and government for their support of Falun Gong practitioners.
