The Blood of Falun Dafa Practitioners Stains the Walls and Floors of Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp of Changchun City is the base for persecuting male Falun Gong practitioners in Jinlin Province. Currently about 600-700 Falun Gong practitioners are detained there. On March 5, 2002, Changchun Dafa practitioners used cable TV to broadcast a video program to reveal the truth of the "Tiananmen Self-immolation Incident." After their lies were exposed, Jiang's regime ordered leaders connected to the regime in Jilin Province to further persecute Falun Gong. Luo Gan went to Jilin to personally monitor progress, and several criminal officials in Jilin embarked on another round of intense persecution. The police and plainclothesmen kidnapped Dafa practitioners and illegally sent them to detention centers, forced labor camps and brainwashing classes for collective persecution. Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City in particular was "cast under the pall of bloody storm."

During the second half of March 2002, several policemen detained two practitioners, took them to the brainwashing room and forced them to write a "separation letter"[ promise to give up practicing Falun Gong]. The two practitioners didn't cooperate with the evil. Thus, the policemen slapped practitioners in the face, hit and kicked them, and used wooden sticks, electric batons, leather belts and a "triangle belt" to beat them. Four or five police together brutally beat one practitioner and shocked another with four or five electric batons simultaneously. These two practitioners were beaten black and blue all over their bodies and had difficulty walking.

On April 5, the Party Secretary of Jilin Province came to the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp and set the so-called "conversion rate"[the percentage of those who are forced to give up practicing Falun Gong and all practitioners they have arrested] at 90%. He also ordered that he was only interested in results, no matter what means were used. On April 6 and April 7, the bloody persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in the whole labor camp started in earnest. Under the instigation of the chief of the labor camp, the guards began to violently enforce brainwashing. All of the team leaders, guards, and common criminals jumped in together. They did not ask practitioners anything, nor would they allow practitioners to say anything, but simply started to brutally beat people. Electric shocks, jumping kicks, electric batons, police sticks, axes, leather belts and "triangle belts" were all used. Terrible screams could constantly be heard from the top to the bottom of the building. Dafa practitioners?blood was all over the walls and floors. Among the teams, Team No. 2 was called the "ghost team." Its chief and guards were notorious for their cruelty. They beat two practitioners who refused to "separate" from Falun Gong, until cuts and bruises were all over their bodies, and then ordered the common criminals to drag these two practitioners along the ground. During such evil persecution, steadfast Dafa practitioners didn't bend to the evil and never gave up their belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance."

On April 9, the whole labor camp held a so-called "motivation meeting"[to incite further persecution]. The police hung a board written with words that slandered Master and Dafa around a steadfast practitioner's neck and forced him to stand on the stage.

At the beginning of June, the police started another round of brutal persecution against the steadfast practitioners. They brought Dafa practitioners, one by one, to the brainwashing room and asked whether they felt "regret" for practicing Dafa and whether they would give it up, and forced them to write materials to slander Dafa. Being refused by practitioners and failing to achieve their objectives, the police started their cruel persecution again. One of the policemen picked up a broom from the floor and used it to hit a practitioner very harshly in the face. As a result, that practitioner's face was gashed, severely swollen and began to fester. Another Dafa practitioner was beaten so severely he became deaf. The police again used a triangular belt to beat the open wounds from scabies on his body that had already festered with pus and blood, and blood and flesh were mangled together. The hips and legs of many Dafa practitioners had serious scabies, and the practitioners were very weak.

After a young practitioner from Team No. 2 was beaten, a guard dragged him to each room and forced him to curse Master, and beat him when he refused. All the words were mean, dirty and indecent.

The practitioners in the labor camp not only had to endure extensive physical and mental torture, but also had to work with their injured and weak bodies to create profit for the camp.

What is recorded here is only the tip of the iceberg. All kinds of persecution methods are still being carried out in the labor camp. On June 22, a leader from Jilin Province came to the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp again, and his new orders are still unknown. We appeal to all the kind people in the world to pay close attention to this dark corner called Changchun's Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp, and to extend help to these innocent, kind Dafa practitioners.
