Macao: Practitioners Hold Series of Activities on July 20 to Call for an End to the Persecution (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 20, 1999, Jiang, the Chinese dictator started persecuting Falun Gong. Over the past three years, millions of Falun Gong practitioners have encountered the persecution. At least 438 practitioners have been tortured or beaten to death. July 20, 1999 will be recorded as the darkest day in human history.

On July 20, 2002, Falun Gong practitioners in Macao held a series of activities from 5 AM until 10 PM to call on people from all walks of life to pay attention to the persecution in China and help to end the persecution as soon as possible.

From 5 to 7 AM, practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts and practiced the exercises in the park facing the Chinese Liaison Office. We distributed Dafa materials at the open area in front of the Pujing hotel. From 8 to 10 PM, practitioners held a candlelight vigil to mourn the more than 400 people who have lost their lives in custody. In the solemn and peaceful atmosphere, with white and translucent lotus flowers and flickering light, practitioners studied the Fa, sent forth-righteous thoughts and exchanged experiences. We further strengthened our determination in cultivating Dafa.
