Brutal Beatings Cannot Shake the Righteous Thoughts of a Dafa Practitioner

(Clearwisdom.net) At around 8 to 9 p.m. in the evening of May 23, 2002, a group of Dawei Town (of Emeishan City) police led by Liu Chunyou broke into my house. They carried out illegal searches and recklessly ransacked my home. They found a copy of Zhuan Falun, my hand copied Fa rectification verse and some truth clarification materials. Policeman Liu Chunyou started beating me right in my home. Later they brought my seven-year-old son and me to the police station for further interrogation. Two policemen continued to press for the source of the materials. Since they could not get any information from me no matter how they tried to coerce me, they resumed their brutal beating. Both of my ears went deaf due to the beating, but I kept reciting Teacher's Fa rectification verse in my heart. I knew that in spite of how atrocious the villains were, "the dark clouds just could not block the sun."

I did not bow to the evil persecution, nor did they obtain any information from me. They finally said, "All right, this is just your own faith and belief and nobody can do anything about it, as long as you are not against the Party." I replied, "Why don't you read through every page of Dafa books and see if there is a single sentence advocating rebellion against the Party. Jiang cannot represent the Party. He is merely a coldhearted dictator who is so intensely jealous of anything that people respect." After a few days, they asked me to sign a notification of pending police detention. I wrote down "I do not agree" on the notification, and left my home with my seven-year-old son at 3 o'clock in the morning the next day. In order to escape from the evil persecution, I must travel from place to place without a home while I continue to clarify the truth to people around me.

Jiang's regime wielded their power and ordered the police to carry out "killing without pardon." Police of the Emeishan City and Dawei Town said things like, "We could ignore the well-being of business in the Emeishan City, but we must suppress the Falun Gong at all costs."

We expose these facts because we must be responsible to the Chinese people. Our acts of clarifying the truth to the world's people are both sacred and magnificent.
