Germany: Berlin Freedom TV Station Broadcasts Interviews with Falun Gong Practitioners
Sunday, July 28, 2002 The program first reported on the cruel crackdown launched by dictator Jiang,
and the numbers of victims documented by Amnesty International. Next, it
broadcasted peaceful scenes of practitioners demonstrating the exercises and
telling people about the persecution in the city centre. The news reporter
explained the cause of the Chinese practitioners appealing in Zhongnanhai, and
the persecution that resulted from it. The practitioners explained that the
Jiang regime wanted to pass a law, so that he could make the persecution he had
launched became legal. The program also interviewed a member of Amnesty
International to testify the cruelty of this persecution. The news reporter also mentioned the blacklist that Jiang Zemin offered to
the Icelandic local government in June when he visited Iceland, to prevent the
Falun Gong practitioners from entering the country. Nine German practitioners
were stopped in Frankfurt airport, including two with German passports. At the
end of the program, the presenter told the audience about the activities that
Falun Gong practitioners would hold in Berlin on Saturday July 20.
On the evening before the third anniversary of July 20, the noted Berlin Freedom
TV Station in Germany interviewed local Falun Dafa practitioners in the city
centre. They broadcasted the recording of this interview on the morning program
of culture, and directly clarified the truth about Jiang Zemin's vicious
persecution to the audience.
