Do Not Let People with Predestined Relationships Miss Their Opportunity


(Clearwisdom.net) In "Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. International Fa Conference," Teacher said, "Everything in the world came for this Dafa, was formed for Dafa, and was created for Dafa." My own understanding is that whenever we meet people, we should clarify the truth whether or not we are acquainted with them.

Seeing passers-by each day, my immediate thought is, "If they are sentient beings deceived by lies and do not know the truth about Falun Dafa, they will not have a future. How sad that would be! Besides, they are all people with whom I have a predestined relationship from my past lives, so I will not retain any preconceived notions and do what a practitioner in the Fa-rectification period should do."

One day, there was a young lady selling lunch in front of an elderly lady from whom I've always bought lunch for my child. The young lady said to me, "Come buy lunch!" I did not make any reply and bought lunch from the elderly lady, and then left.

It was raining the next day and seeing that the elderly lady did not come I asked the young lady, "Do you have lunch I can buy?" She immediately said angrily, "No! And even if I had any left I would not sell it to you! I only had one left yesterday and you would not buy it." I thought, "Where did I do wrong? I should buy lunch from the young lady next time and talk to her."

After a few days I went over to buy lunch again. I smiled and said to the young lady, "Miss, do you have any lunches left? I would like to buy one for my child." She smiled and said, "Yes, I do!" After taking the lunch and paying for it, I said, "I did not know you only had one lunch left last time, otherwise I would have bought it and made it easier for you. I am sorry. I practice Falun Dafa. Teacher always told us to think of others before we act." She smiled in embarrassment. I then handed her a booklet that clarifies the truth about Falun Gong and said, "This is for you to read." I also gave her two flyers and we parted on good terms.

Teacher said, "...you are Dafa disciples, so you should always look within whenever you run into problems--it's guaranteed that many of the problems are your problems, whether you want to look at yourself or not, or whether you think of them or not." Through this incident I came to realize, as a disciple in the Fa-rectification period, "...all of the chaotic world's non-righted wrongs and karmic relationships are settled with benevolent solutions." (From "Foretelling the Fa's Rectification of the Human World") After I understood this, the young lady's resentment disappeared and she was able to see the truth about Falun Gong.
