U.K.: Behaving Righteously Is the Best Way to Validate the Fa

This is a true story about a dialogue between a Dafa practitioner and a supporter of another movement. Over the past three years, U.K. practitioners have launched many peaceful protests in to call for Jiang's group to stop persecuting Falun Gong. Almost every time they encounter some supporters of this movement staging a protest on the same spot. Although their faces have gradually become familiar to each other, they never interacted with each other because what they appeal for is very different. Even when they do talk to each other, it is very brief and short. This situation took place recently.

Not long ago, the Dafa practitioners in London practiced the sitting meditation in front of the Prime Minister's residence to peacefully call for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. As usual, the protesters of this movement were next to the Falun Gong group. Shortly, a bus stopped there, and a busload of Chinese people hired by the Chinese embassy exited. They tried to overwhelm every protester by hitting drums and striking gongs to make tumultuous noise.

Among the crowd, the other group of protesters were between Falun Gong practitioners and the rowdy hired Chinese people. An elderly British lady standing in the middle of that group spoke to a western Dafa practitioner next to her: "You know, these noisy people were not brought in to drown you out, they are here to drown us out because we always chant slogans. We like to stand next to you. You always present yourselves well - peaceful meditation along with magnificent and graceful exercises! Your Falun Gong is truly dignified but I'm afraid that we are always shouting and chanting loudly."

"Thank you!" replied the western practitioner, "I am learning to be compassionate."

"You are really very kind. With the elapse of so many years, the compassion we once had is wearing thin, and I really don't know if I have much of it left." the elderly lady said regrettably.

The practitioner listened quietly with pity in his heart. Then the elderly person walked away. Suddenly she stopped and came back: "I would like to tell you one more thing I know about Falun Gong. One day, Falun Gong will gain belief and respect from the world."

The western practitioner was surprised to hear this profound and keen observation and replied: "I know this and so do the other practitioners, but how do you know this?" The old lady's eyes sparkled in her broad smiling face as she said: "I have been standing next to you for a few years and it is clear to see for everyone who has eyes to see it!"
