Germany: On the Evening Before July 20, Berlin Freedom TV Interviews Falun Gong Practitioners

On the evening before the third anniversary of the crackdown, the noted Berlin Freedom TV Station interviewed a local group of practitioners in the city center. The interview was broadcast on the morning cultural program, directly clarifying the truth to the audience.

The program reported the cruel crackdown launched by the dictator Jiang Zemin, and the accurate numbers of victims documented by Amnesty International. Peaceful shots of the practitioners doing the exercises and handing our flyers in the city center followed. The practitioners interviewed explained that all the Falun Gong practitioners had done was to clarify the truth to people, and appeal for help from the world to stop the crackdown.

The reporter discussed the reasons behind the April 25 incident appealing in Zhongnanhai, and the crackdown that resulted from it. Practitioners explained that Jiang passed a law outlawing Falun Gong so that he could make the crackdown he had launched become legal. The program also interviewed a member of Amnesty International who testified to the cruelty of the persecution.

The reporter also mentioned the blacklist that Jiang Zemin gave to the Icelandic local government in June before his visit there, to prevent Falun Gong practitioners from entering the country. Nine German practitioners were stopped at the Frankfurt airport, including two carrying German passports. At the end of the program, the presenter told the audience about the commemorative activities that Falun Gong practitioners would hold in Berlin on Saturday July 20.
