People of Scunthorpe, UK Welcome Falun Dafa (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On June 29, 2002, some Falun Dafa practitioners from central United Kingdom came to Scunthorpe City (north of Lincoln County) to introduce Falun Dafa to the local people. The people who have the pre-destined relationship to Falun Dafa obtained a precious opportunity to know about Falun Dafa.

Scunthorpe People Like Falun Dafa

The practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts at the top of each hour and also introduced Falun Dafa to the people. The peaceful music and smooth movements attracted many people. Many local residents accepted the introduction flyers and asked for the nearest practice site. People showed deep interests in learning Falun Gong. Many people expressed their wishes that practitioners will teach the exercises in the city. When the day was over, more than two thousand flyers were taken.

Interview and Council Members' support

A reporter from the largest local newspaper interviewed the practitioners and also took some photos. Two City Council Members came to the site and talked to the practitioners. Later they signed the petition seriously. They said, "It is un-imaginable that there is a suppression like this!" and they said they would write to the Parliament to urge United Kingdom government to help stop the persecution. One of the council members took a dozen of flyers when he left. We met this kindhearted council member in a supermarket again after we finished the Fa spreading activity of the day. We happily greeted to him again.

A Young Practitioner

It is worth to mention that we have a young practitioner in our team. She happily followed her parents to promote Dafa, send forth righteous thoughts, demonstrate exercises and distribute the flyers for three days.
