Persecution Cases of Falun Dafa Practitioners in Mancheng County, Hebei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) In late December 2000, practitioners Yin Shuying and Yin Xiuqin from Dakanxia village, Mancheng City, Hebei Province went to Beijing to appeal. The Bailong County government officials and "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecuteáFalun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.) arrested them and sent them to the county detention center. There, Shuying and Xuyqin continued to practice cultivation while the detention center guards beat them whenever they wished. In March 2001, the Bailong County government officials tricked them, saying that they were being released. Instead, the officials kidnapped them and sent them to the brainwashing class in Dongma County, Mancheng City. There, because they resisted the unreasonable requests (like writing the guarantee letters to not practice) from the evil side, they were severely beaten by a group of people headed by Kang Xinyuan, the Bailong County Administration and Legislation Secretary. After that, the practitioners could not get out of their beds for several days.

Wei Haiwu (husband) and Yin Fengqin (wife) from Dakanxia village were arrested and taken from their home just because they practice Falun Gong. Police officer Xu Huilai from the county police substation beat Yin Fengqin so hard that her face was severely swollen. Later, Yin was sent to Balizhuang Forced Labor Camp in Baoding City, Hebei Province. She is very strong willed and remains true to her belief. Now she is under strict guard and her family is not allowed to visit her. Wei Haiwu passed out several times due to repeated beating by the Mancheng City Public Security Bureau police and detention center guards. Later, he was illegally sentenced to Balizhuang Forced Labor Camp in Baoding City. Their son and daughter are left to the care of their relatives. Even their relatives are not exempt from the persecution and are extorted by the government officials and police.

Practitioner Gao Yuzen (female, 47 years old) is a kindergarten teacher in Mancheng County, Hebei Province. During the 2001, May 1 holiday period (May 1 is labor day in China) she went to appeal in Beijing where she was arrested and taken back to the county. Later she was sentenced to one year in Balizhuang Forced Labor Camp. She is very firm in her belief in Dafa while in the labor camp. When her term expired in early July 2002, she was supposed to be released unconditionally. However, the 610 Office together with the county's Education Bureau took her to the brainwashing class in Zhuozhou, Hebei Province, and continued to persecute her there. Now Gao Yuzhen is in very poor physical condition. We ask kind-hearted people to pay attention to this.
