Re: "Calgary Falun Gong mark ban's third year," July 20.

Falun Gong practitioners crafted more than 200 coloured origami lotus flowers to give away at the July 20 commemoration event, marking three years of vicious persecution. We also hand-delivered many flowers to different offices throughout the city.

For three years, we have suffered defamation, ridicule, loss of livelihood, systematic torture and death as a result of the [Jiang regime's] illegal persecution against us. We want everyone around the world to know our hearts and spirits are strong, and we will not stop believing in goodness.

The Canadian government and Canadians have been so strong in supporting us. Amnesty International has been tremendous. Thank you, everyone!
