Over One Thousand Female Falun Dafa Practitioners Are Still Being Held in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province

At present, the second women's facility of the Forced Masanjia Labor Camp is still detaining over one thousand female Falun Dafa practitioners. This number does not include any of the female practitioners still detained in the Longshan and Fushun Labor Camps. Among these women, some were sent from various labor camps from other cities and counties of Liaoning province and some were caught and taken to the facility straight from their homes and workplaces. Under the Jiang regime's acts of state terrorism, more and more practitioners have been caught. Therefore, a large four-story building built in November last year has already been filled to capacity and cannot hold any more practitioners. Right now, the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp would rather detain four people by merging two beds in one room than release these illegally detained practitioners who steadfastly insist in their spiritual belief.

A number of very determined practitioners were locked in the "small cells" [solitary confinement] on the east side of the first story of the building. Among practitioners who were detained in these cells, some were persecuted until they suffered from mental collapse. Doctors in the Second Women's facility injected them daily with narcotics, which in fact was a kind of method used to devastate practitioners' minds chemically and an abuse of medicine. Practitioners who persisted in practicing exercises and sending forth righteous thoughts were also sent into these cells. Once, a determined practitioner sent forth righteous thoughts in public. Four collaborators [former practitioners who had given up Dafa as a result of intense pressure and brainwashing] then went over, stuffed a towel in her mouth, carried her to the first story and locked her into a "small cell" Some practitioners who held hunger strikes for protest were also thrown into the downstairs "small cell." All windows and doors of these "small cells" were blocked off by curtains, and only a tiny amount of fresh air could come in. The iron door of the corridor was locked all the time. The practitioners were monitored by guards day and night. Food and water were brought by other people. Because the information was blocked off, the details of persecution of these practitioners locked in the "small cells" is not completely known. However, at 8 p.m. on May 16, a few practitioners in the upstairs rooms witnessed through a window a guard brutally beating practitioners in the "small cell."

On April 26, 2002, the Second Women's Facility of Masanjia Labor Camp performed a so-called "Formation Drill" to persecute practitioners. All of a sudden, a practitioner's loud shout was suddenly heard from a window of the west side of the second floor. This voice scared a few policemen who hurriedly ran upstairs. Shortly after, "Falun Dafa is Good!" was suddenly shouted out from a window of the east side at the first floor by a practitioner being held in one of the "small cells" of the first floor, who found her chance to speak out with a just voice.

The persecution is still continuing, but the righteous minds of practitioners are greatly frightening the evil.
