Once I walked down a wrong path in my cultivation, but now I am back on the right path. I wanted to become a practitioner in the Fa-rectification period. Teacher said,

Therefore, with a determined heart, I felt that I must redeem the losses I have brought to Dafa by going to Tiananmen to validate Dafa.

I told my fellow practitioners about my decision, but nobody agreed with me. They were afraid that I might not be able to endure hardship with my current xinxing [mind nature, moral quality] level. A couple of other practitioners and I went to Beijing to send forth righteous thoughts, but after that, my heart felt terrible because I had wanted to unfurl a banner instead of sending forth-righteous thoughts and did not double my efforts to redeem my previous mistake.

On June 8, 2002, I finally went to Tiananmen Square and validated Dafa. On Tiananmen Square, I unfurled a "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" banner in front of a group of tourists and loudly spoke the words from my heart that "Falun Dafa is Good" and "Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa." Before leaving the square, a policeman ordered me to say something to slander Dafa, but I refused. A couple of policemen forcefully pulled me into a vehicle. At that moment, a lot of people were on the scene and I loudly said to them "Falun Dafa is Good," then a couple of policemen took my banner away. I was then taken to the Tiananmen Police Station and detained there. Later, six other practitioners were also sent in here and we, as a group, sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil in other dimensions. The next day, we were separated and sent to various public security offices, and then transferred to different local police stations.

At the police station, security officers and policemen asked me what my name was and where I lived. But I remembered Teacher's words "No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil's demands, orders, or what it instigates." ("Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful") and "Every person you come into contact with in society is someone to clarify the truth to." ("To all Student at Nordic Fa Conference") Then I clarified the truth to every person I met. On the second day, a security officer, after understanding the truth, wanted to learn about Dafa. I felt very happy for him and told him to please read the book Zhuan Falun .

I went on a hunger strike to protest their unlawful persecution against me. Every day when they would ask me to give them my name and address, I asked them to release me unconditionally. On the fourth day, they put me in the brainwashing class and asked former practitioners who had turned away from Dafa [due to the severe pressure and brainwashing] to take turns brainwashing me. I had great pity for them. In my heart, I asked Teacher to let them get out of here, leave the brainwashing class, and the labor camp. Also, let them have a chance to learn Dafa and wake them up so that they can come back as a Fa-rectification practitioner, Then I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors that controlled them. Two days later, they stopped coming back.

On the seventh day, a new policeman and two new security officers still asked for my name and address. I wrote down that my name is "Dafa disciple" and my address is "China." They became angry and threatened me. They said that no matter what, they would find out my name and address. The next day, I still did not tell them and recited Teacher's article, "Entering the Gate of No Life " to them. The words of the Fa touched and awakened part of one of the officer's conscience. Then I told him the truth about the persecution and stories about the awakening of good people. After I clarified the truth, he said that he had changed his point of view about Falun Gong and that he would tell some other people too. "That's great and you are doing a good thing too," I said happily while crying at the same time. He told me not to cry, and I told him that I was very happy for him. I also told him why I would not tell him my name and address. If I did that, it would cause problems for others in my local area. Those people already had some misunderstandings about Dafa. If I did that, they would hate Dafa even more, and then, in this case, I would do something bad to them. Last time, there were two people from our areas. They went to Tiananmen to peacefully appeal and were arrested. The local leader spent one hundred and seventy thousand Yuan in order to settle that case. It is people's hard earned money and should not be used to bribe greedy government officials. Our Teacher taught us that when doing things we need to consider others first and be responsible to the society. After this conversation, he treated me like I was his sister.

The ninth day of my hunger strike, a security officer took me to the hospital to give me an IV infusion. He said that after my body recovered they would release me. On the afternoon of the next day, I was sent to a train station and a policeman also gave me ten Yuan for travel expenses.

It was Teacher who looked after me and the practitioners in my hometown who continuously sent forth righteous thoughts for me. Therefore I was able to walk out of the police station with righteous dignity and re-join the local practitioners in the Fa-rectification activities.
