Recently police in Harbin City secretly arrested over 50 Dafa practitioners. Among them were Gu Dongfeng, a student from Harbin's Industrial University who was arrested while clarifying the truth to people, and Ms. Bai Jing from the Taiping District. We have heard that they are being secretly sentenced.
[Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liu Qingzhu
At around 5:50 p.m. on July 18, 2002, Dafa practitioner Liu Qingzhu disappeared in the western suburb of Zhengzhou City. The practitioner had been forced to leave her home and rent a place to live. Right after that, the young man who used to loiter around her door and was bought off by police with 300 Yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly income in urban areas of China] a month to monitor her also disappeared. It's now known that she is detained in Zhengzhou City's Qiliyan Forced Labor Camp. All requests for visits by her family members and relatives have been denied.
