(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of August 1^st, the Chinese Embassy and the Bavarian State Government held a reception in the palace in Munich to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Germany. VIPs in Chinese and German political circles were invited. After hearing the news, Dafa practitioners in Munich immediately applied for permission to hold a candlelight vigil near Odeons Square in front of the palace. The candlelight vigil was held to commemorate the practitioners who had been tortured to death by Jiang's evil regime and to clarify the truth to the attendees of the reception.

That evening in Odeons Square, Dafa practitioners held up photos of the victimized practitioners, unfolded banners on which were written the words, "SOS: China Stops Killing," and lit candles. The candlelight, the photos of the victims, and the solemnity and dignity of the scene attracted the attention of the attendees and the passersby.

The attendees and the passersby stopped to take a look, being shocked by the brutal acts of Jiang's evil regime. They asked for Dafa truth clarification materials. Some of them learned the exercises on the spot, and some of them even sent a lot of chocolate to the practitioners who were practicing exercises. Some officials in the Chinese Embassy accused practitioners from China of not loving their country. We asked them, "To love one's country is to love one's people first. Hundreds of our fellow countrymen were tortured to death by Jiang's evil regime. Thousands of Chinese are under persecution. And you are aiding the tyrant in his tyranny, torturing and killing Chinese. What do you mean by loving your own country?" The Chinese officials fell quiet. They also felt that Jiang's brutal acts were too shameful to be revealed. That was why they were afraid of letting people around the world know the truth.
