(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of August 15, 2002, Washington D.C. Falun Dafa Practitioners were surprised to learn of the Hong Kong court's unjust conviction. They went to appeal in front of the Chinese Embassy and peacefully protest the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and the trampling of Hong Kong's freedoms.

We were sad because the extension of Jiang's despotic power into Hong Kong reduces "One country, two systems" to just a name. We call on the Hong Kong government and people to stand by justice and make the right choice for the future. Return freedom and justice to Hong Kong! We call on more people to stand up to protest Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
