Daqing Petrochemical Police Chief Wu Jinyou Dies in a Car Accident

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionateáreminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape karmic retribution.

Mr. Wu Jinyou was the Police Chief at the Huaxiang Station of Daqing Petrochemical Headquarters Public Security Division in Heilongjiang Province. He was 38 years old. Wu Jinyou actively joined in the persecution of Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners. His supervisors praised his police station as a so-called "Advanced Unit" because of the severity of its persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Wu Jinyou often dispatched his policemen to capture Dafa practitioners who distributed truth-clarifying literature. He even led some policemen himself to track and spy on Dafa practitioners. He and his minions illegally searched practitioners' homes and confiscated Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. They illegally wiretapped Dafa practitioners' phone calls, often subjected them to interrogation with torture, and extorted confessions from practitioners using very ruthless means.

Wu Jinyou colluded with lawless officials from Daqing Petrochemical Headquarters and the Daqing Petrochemical Corporation to persecute Dafa practitioners: He supplied so-called "proof" to workplaces so that they could expel and take disciplinary action against Dafa practitioners. He caused many Dafa practitioners to be abducted and sent to illegal forced-labor camps. He caused many happy families the loss of family members and many Dafa practitioners the loss of their jobs and to be forced from their homes.

On July 14, 2002, Wu Jinyou was driving a luxury jeep on the Wolong Expressway in Erguan District. His vehicle collided with another. The force of the impact was so severe that his body became a pulp.

Actually, Wu was himself also a victim of Jiang's evil lies. Dafa practitioners showed mercy on him and clarified the truth to him and advised him to be kind, yet he stuck to following a dead-end criminal path. We hope that people like Wu will awaken to the truth of the persecution, reverse their course of evil action, and save themselves from similarly tragic fates.
