In Memory of Dafa Practitioner Lan Hongyu

(Clearwisdom.net) June 17, 2002 marked the anniversary of Dafa practitioner Lan Hongyu's death. He was tortured to death by the police from Hebei Province's Zunhua City. Everyone who knew or had contact with Lan Hongyu would say that he was a very good person with high morals. After he began to practice Falun Gong, he practiced diligently. It was just like he put it, "When you enlighten to something, you should do it."

When the evil came in swarming hordes, madly attacking Falun Dafa and torturing Dafa practitioners, Lan Hongyu firmly upheld Dafa. The evil thugs arrested him many times, cruelly beating and torturing him. Once the police slapped him repeatedly in the face dozens of times. In the freezing winter he was stripped all of his clothes and forced to stand outside in the cold, wearing only shorts. He was not even given enough food to eat. At each meal he only received a small bowl of rice soup and a corn bun that had to be shared with the others. The thugs even hung him up. However, the brutal torture did not make him waver in his faith in the cultivation of Falun Dafa. Lan Hongyu was killed after only ten days in his last term of imprisonment. He was only 35 years old.

In order to stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, and to let the people who were deceived awaken to the truth and be saved, we will work together with the practitioners around the world to break all the arrangements of the old forces, use righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil elements in other dimensions and tell the whole world, "Falun Dafa is Good! Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa!"
