Urgently Rescue Dafa Practitioners Besieged in Haishiwan, Gansu Province

(Clearwisdom.net) On August 13, 2002 more than ten Dafa practitioners held an experience sharing event at practitioner Qu Shufan's apartment in Lanzhou City Carbon Steel Plant at Haishiwan, the conjuncture of Gansu and Qinghai provinces. Due to the betrayal of a collaborator [former practitioners who through torture, intense pressure and brainwashing have renounced their belief and turned against Dafa], they have now been besieged by the police for five days.

On the afternoon of the 13^th, the police surrounded Qu Shufan's place completely, trying to capture the practitioners. Three practitioners were captured when they went out of the apartment, and have been sent to a brainwashing center in Lanzhou City. The remaining practitioners resisted the persecution and kept sending forth righteous thoughts. The police have so far failed their attempt to capture the practitioners, but the practitioners are still besieged in Qu Shufan's apartment. According to information leaked out, the police are planning to dispatch a fire brigade to break into Qu's apartment through windows with the help of a crane, or saw their way in through the metal security door.

The current situation is extremely critical. We call upon all the kind-hearted people and governments around the world to help rescue the practitioners besieged in Haishiwan, Gansu Province. We hope that all Dafa practitioners who get to know this news keep sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil persecution and to use various means to help rescue those besieged practitioners.
