Falun Dafa Practitioner Song Huaping Tortured to Death in the First Detention Center of Yingcheng City, Hubei Province

Song Huaping, a Falun Dafa Practitioner from Yingcheng City of Hubei Province died as a result of torture on July 31, 2002. Song, a 34-year-old man, had been illegally detained on six occasions. The last time he was detained was in the First Detention Center of Yingcheng City, where he was brutally tortured to a life-threatening condition. The police were afraid of taking responsibility for his death and sent him home. He died one month later. The officials in Yingcheng City have been tightly blocking any information from leaking out concerning Song's death, so no detailed information is available at this moment.
