A Talk With A Chinese Newspaper Reporter

One day I went to China town in New York City to spread the Fa. When we were getting ready to leave after the 6 o'clock sending forth righteous thoughts, a Chinese woman came up to me. She asked me if we were leaving. I told her that we were and then asked why she would like to know. She then told me that she was a reporter from a big Chinese newspaper. This newspaper has copied Jiang Zemin's slander.

The reporter asked me why we were there, and why we chose to hold the activity where we were. I then clarified the truth to her. I told her that we came here because a lot of people pass by. She then asked me if I feel hurt that people are against us. I stopped myself as I said no, and told her yes. I said that it pains me to see people against something so pure, and that the people are like that because newspapers here repeat the propaganda from the Chinese government. I told her that we use all our heart to try to help people see the goodness of Dafa. She looked really touched. She said, "You guys have done nothing wrong and people treat you like this."

Then another practitioner came to give her some material. When he gave it to her, she said that she has all the material except for a newspaper. So she took the newspaper and gave the rest back to the practitioner. She said, "I know you spend a lot of money out of your pocket to make these materials. I want you to give them to someone else so they can learn the truth." This brought tears to my eyes.

There was something that surprised me. She told me that they have a couple of our books and that she has read them. She also said that they pay very close attention.
