Some Understandings About Clarifying the Truth to Overseas Chinese

(Clearwisdom.net) When I first went to Chinatown to hand out materials that explained the truth about Dafa and met people whose attitude was bad, I merely sent forth righteous thoughts in my heart. Later I realized that I could not merely send forth righteous thoughts without explaining the truth, but when I did so with the expectation of persuading people, the result was not always very good.

In subsequent attempts to let people know the truth about Falun Dafa, prior to doing so, I tried to purify my thoughts by studying the Fa. When I encountered people's questions that I could not answer properly, I learned from the experiences of other practitioners published on the Dafa websites. When I met people whose attitude was extremely bad, I first sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil elements in other dimensions that were interfering with them. I calmly answered their questions, and then told them that Jiang Zemin's regime persecutes defenseless practitioners who believe in "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance." I also told them that good is rewarded with good, and evil meets with evil and that history has shown us that those criminal people who had persecuted cultivators all came to a disastrous end. Another point I made is that Falun Gong practitioners use their own savings and work on their own time to let more people know the truth. They do it out of altruism, not for their own benefit.

I let them know that, regardless of whether or not they support us, we will continue to cultivate and to help others understand the truth about the practice and the persecution of Falun Dafa, so that they may have a beautiful future. I also tell them that practitioners in China risk their lives to clarify the truth. More often than not, people changed their negative attitudes and listened calmly. In the end they happily accepted Dafa flyers. Some people who already knew the truth cried. I saw the power of compassion and the concern for others.

Teacher said in Touring North America to Teach the Fa, March 2002, "At this point we've basically allowed all governments and the vast majority of people around the entire world to know that our Falun Dafa is good. They all know that we're being wrongfully persecuted, they all know the ugly nature of the evil head scoundrel in China and the warped, disgusting face of that tyrant and they can see clearly the evilness of the gang of political scoundrels."

Let us cherish every single day, every single chance, making use of the Internet, the telephone, fax and handing out flyers to explain and spread the truth more deeply.
