Police Officer and Others Who Persecuted Dafa Suffer Retribution

(Clearwisdom.net)

Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionateáreminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Xu Yong, a 31-year old police officer at the Mining Police Sub-Station and his father, Xu Qixin have been persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners since May 2001. Motivated by pure self-interest they created materials slandering Falun Dafa and followed Falun Dafa practitioners around. As a consequence of his evil deeds, Xu Yong died suddenly in May of 2002.

Zhang is the Party secretary in a village. He has been participating in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners since 1999. He slandered the practice and the founder of Falun Gong. Many local citizens accused him of corruption and inappropriate relationships. As a result, he was demoted in 2000 and his wife was diagnosed with an incurable disease.

Cai is a 52-year old elementary school teacher. In 2001 he wrote a play slandering Falun Dafa and tried to put the show on during the Town Elementary School competition. His play was canceled, but he was severely injured in a motorcycle accident several months later. His front teeth were all knocked out in the accident, and now his face looks deformed. His wife told one Dafa practitioner that she burned Dafa flyers whenever she saw them. She fell very ill in March 2002. Her body, and in particular her lungs, were seriously diseased and she died quickly.
