An 83 Year Old Man Obtains a New Life

(Clearwisdom.net)

An 83-year-old man had lung cancer and had been bedridden for over half a year. He was unconscious much of the time. The hospital told the family that there was no way to cure him, so they were preparing for his death.

His daughter, who lived out of town, began practicing Falun Gong in May 1999, and deeply benefited from it. When she came back home to take care of her father, she told him about Falun Gong. She told him about the true facts of Falun Gong, how she had benefited, the facts of the persecution, and a few of the cases of Falun Gong practitioners who were tortured to death.

One day, the old man woke up from his unconscious state, and was suddenly very clearheaded. He said, "Who said that Falun Gong is bad? Falun Gong is good!" Then he lapsed back into unconsciousness. Several hours later, he awoke and felt hungry. A miracle had happened. For 3 or 4 days, he had not been able to drink and for nearly a month he had not been able to eat. He seemed to be dying. However, because he was hungry, he ate 15 dumplings all at once. Then he went quietly back to sleep. In the middle of the night, the old man sat up by himself, and said he felt he had recovered his strength. He asked others to help him use the restroom. His family was shocked. Marvelling at this event, the entire family, including the elderly man, began studying Zhuan Falun together. The old man recovered miraculously.

In the last 5 months, he has been able to walk around. He tells everyone he meets that, "Dafa saved me." He always says, "Dafa is good, and it is righteous!" His neighbours also witnessed the miracle of Dafa. Many came to ask about Falun Gong, and many came to learn.
