The Huanan Forestry Bureau in Heilongjiang Province Detains Dafa Practitioners Indefinitely
(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Xia Zhiliang from the Huanan Forestry
Bureau was arrested by police on January 7, 2001 at his home, and was detained.
Since Xia firmly believed in Dafa, he was sent to Xigemu forced labor camp in
Jiamusi for a one-and-a-half-year sentence . Although he was tortured in the
forced labor camp, he still didn't give up his belief in Dafa. On July 16, 2002,
his forced labor camp term came to an end, but the Huanan Forestry Bureau police
escorted Xia back on July 15, 2002, and kept him in detention locally.
Xia's family members went to ask for Xia's release, but the police station of
Huanan Forestry Bureau replied: "No release as long as he is not
transformed." The policemen paid no respect to the law, arrested people at
will at their homes, and kept detaining people even though their unjust terms
had ended, leaving Xia's wife and child helpless with a heavy burden of debt and
mental suffering.
The Huanan Forestry Bureau detention center also jailed another three Dafa
practitioners: Guo Ren-ai, Zhang Yu-qin, Cao Xiu-lan. Among them, Guo Ren-ai is
a middle school teacher. Guo was detained by the suburban Beijing Changping
detention center in January 2001 when she went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa.
She was released in May 2001 after hunger strikes. After returning home, she was
detained once more. She went on hunger strike again to protest the illegal
detention, and was physically very weak . Two labor camps have refused to accept
her, but the Huanan Forestry Bureau detention center has detained her since May
2001 and has not released her to this day. Her life was in a critical situation
several times during the detention period and she was hospitalized several
times, but the detention center still won't release her.
We hope fellow practitioners who hear this news will send forth righteous
thoughts to eliminate the evil in other dimensions that manipulates the Huanan
Forestry Bureau officials and the police station into doing evil deeds against
our fellow practitioners.
