By a practitioner in China

On May 17, 2002 agents of the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over all political systems in China, including the judiciary] forcibly took me to the Number 2 Detention Center in Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province. While at the detention center I went on a hunger strike. On the sixth day of my hunger strike, I was taken to a Mental Hospital to be tortured. The chief of the Mental Hospital and the medical personnel tied me down on a bed and injected me with multiple kinds of toxic and hallucinogenic drugs to torture me. At this hospital, there were more than 20 Falun Dafa practitioners being tortured to varying degrees.

With the passage of time, only four practitioners were left, including me. The other three practitioners were Liu Yufent, Shen Guolan, and Lu Dawei. Still being persecuted by the evil, we decided to escape. With alertness and consideration of our options, we quickly found our chance and left the hospital. However, we were all homeless. Public security officers arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Yufeng after he returned home. He was delivered to Chaoyang Forced Labor Camp where he is being further tortured.

Recently, the "610 Office" and the Political Guarantee Team in Lingyuan City kidnapped more than 20 Falun Dafa practitioners from an agricultural village and imprisoned them in a detention center. Also, the United Security Group for that region had been searching for and detecting Falun Dafa activity at various factories, mines, villages, towns and streets. They have assembled brainwashing specialists and thugs to prepare another round of large-scale persecution.

The criminal officials in Chaoyang City and Lingyuan City are extremely evil. For instance, as far back as 1996, officials throughout Chaoyang City's government had persecuted practitioners far and wide. They confiscated practitioners' personal property, Falun Dafa materials, and they extorted innumerable fines. Early in 1996, they even detained nine Falun Dafa instructors. In short, these officials were among the first to broadly spread the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.
