Sweden: Record of Events during the Halland Truth-Clarifying Tour (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) We spent a week visiting the main cities of this state in Sweden,
introducing the local government, media and residents to the truth of Falun Gong and telling them
about the persecution suffered by Falun Gong practitioners in China. On the first day we came to a Parade Square called Kungsbacka, where we practiced the exercises
and displayed information about Falun Gong and the persecution in China. Many people came to take
flyers and view the exhibits. There were people who were very interested and sat down to watch our
exercise demonstrations. The harmonious music together with the gentle movement brought a peaceful
atmosphere to the Parade Square. While coming forward, people watched solemnly and lowered their
voices while talking, showing their respect. On the second day we came to Falkenberg's Parade Square. When the locals heard about the truth of
the persecution, they showed great sympathy and had a good understanding of the situation. They were
clear that the Chinese government was suppressing those who held different opinions. On the third day, we came to Hyltebruk's beautiful Natural Park. Falun Gong has never been to
this city before; passers-by watched us with curiosity and interest. This city has a sister city in
China and inside its library there is an exhibition booth portraying the springtime visit of the
Chinese officials. We had the opportunity to place material regarding the truth of Falun Gong at the
booth to help people gain a good understanding of the current situation in China. á On the fourth day we came to Laholm's Parade Square. As that day was a sunny day, many residents
came to the center of the city. There were many people who were curious about the beneficial effects
of Falun Gong and the reasons why practitioners in Mainland China have been prohibited from
practicing Falun Gong. Thus we had the chance to tell them what Falun Gong was, let them know about
the persecution suffered by practitioners in Mainland China, and Jiang's order to kill these truly
good people just because they followed the universal principles of
"Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance." á On the fifth day we came to the Halmstad Parade Square fountain. Initially, it rained and we felt
dull and slow. However, after searching within and realizing the importance of clarifying of the
truth, and with the sun coming out, we felt a big improvement. We smiled at the residents of
Halmstad and they smiled back at us. A Halmstad newspaper's journalist wrote a very positive report
and commented that Falun Gong had added a fresh, unique feeling to the Parade Square. á On the sixth and last day of our tour, we came to Varberg's seaside. Many Varberg residents and
tourists came out in the beautiful summer weather to take a walk. Many people spent time reading the
materials put up in front of us. We had a very meaningful and fulfilling week. We reached many new understandings. For example,
while doing things we should have a very clear and specific goal, not letting our attachments and
hidden motives control the outcome of the events. The important criteria for getting rid of
attachments and exposing one's hidden motives are the daily Fa study and the exchange among
practitioners regarding how to adhere more to the universal characteristics of "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance."
