Falun Dafa Day 2002
On 28 July 2002 Falun Dafa will celebrate Falun Dafa Day at
Chatswood in my electorate of Willoughby.
This event is of particular note because of the marked
increase in the Chinese Australian community which has built up in Willoughby in
the past two decades that I have served as the local Member of Parliament.
A fundamental right of all Australians is that freedom of
belief and associations. Followers of Falun Dafa will exercise and demonstrate
that right on 28 July within the local community of Willoughby.
I would like to convey my best wishes on this occasion, which
so clearly typifies Australia's cultural diversity.
