German People: The Photos Show the Scene So Clearly, How Could That be Considered an "Obstruction of Traffic?" (Photos)

At 2 PM on August 5, Falun Gong practitioners from Berlin, Germany held a press conference in front of the Chinese Embassy in Berlin. They appealed to people from all walks of life to pay attention to the Hong Kong police's false accusation against the 4 Swiss and 12 Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioners and help together to end this political persecution.

Who are the ones causing the public obstruction?	Who is attacking the police?

During the press conference, practitioners read their appeal letter to the Hong Kong government and Hong Kong public. In the letter, practitioners pointed out that the case should not be focused on whether any public obstruction occurred as the answer is so obvious, but rather people should raise concern to the fact that this is a political trial due to the Jiang regime's deliberate extension of its persecution on Falun Gong to other countries. If there was no brutal persecution of Falun Gong over the past three years, there would not be the necessity to hold peaceful appeals. Over the past three years, Falun Gong practitioners from Hong Kong and other areas over the entire world have demonstrated through their actions the peacefulness of Falun Gong and their practice of the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. They have paid a huge price to appeal to people from all walks of life all over the world, including all people in Hong Kong for their fellow practitioners in China.

The letter said in the end, during the conflict between good and evil, attitude of each government down to each person is extremely important. The freedom and democracy of Hong Kong is now under a serious test. We once again strongly appeal to people from all walks of life to pay attention to this issue and help to end this political persecution and to unconditionally release these 16 Falun Gong practitioners.

Reporters from a few media including Epoch Times attended the press conference. A reporter from Radio Free Asia conducted a telephone interview with practitioners and the the report was to be broadcast to the Chinese audience today. Dafa practitioners exposed to the media the wicked conspiracy of the Jiang Zemin regime that is hidden behind the fabricated charges. The Jiang regime attempts to extend its ruthless persecution of Falun Gong to Hong Kong in order to suppress Falun Gong in the free and democratic Hong Kong. Practitioners also introduced to reporters the Jiang regime's persecution of practitioners overseas and the fact that the Jiang regime has set up a special organization known as the notorious 610 office to persecute Falun Gong outside China. The reporter expressed his extreme indignation towards Jiang's evil crimes. He said that he would let his audience in China learn about Jiang's viciousness through his report.

At press conference, after learning about the truth, many passersby expressed their aversion towards Jiang regimes' evilness. Below are comments from two Germans.

"If someone intends to beat others, would it be difficult for him to find a stick?"

The 70-year-old Mrs Schuette said, "I'm now 70 years old and have gone through many things in the world. It is really terrible that a powerful country relies on its financial resources and power to compel others to accept its ideology. What is even more ridiculous is that the photos show so clearly that the streets are so wide, how could that be considered as an obstruction of traffic? Those people sitting there did not obstruct anyone. But there is an old saying in our Germany: If someone intends to beat others, would it be difficult for him to find a stick?'"

"It is too ridiculous to say that these peaceful people attacked the police"

Hanna, a college student from an art institute in Berlin said, "I accidentally passed by here. It was the serene field of the meditation that attracted me. So I came over and wanted to find more. This is the first time that I heard about the persecution in China and see those photos in Hong Kong. I am really shocked. I feel this is truly ridiculous for it can be seen so obviously from the photos how peaceful these people are and how wide the street is. There were just doing sitting meditation."

Looking at the photo that displays how Hong Kong police violently arrested the practitioners, Hanna said, "It is too ridiculous to say that these peaceful people attacked the police. If it were not for the sadness people feel for the incident, the accusation is truly laughable. This case is actually a threat to Hong Kong's democracy. I wish that all people over the world will be able to live peacefully in accordance with the principle just like what Falun Gong advocates, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, do some meditation and live in a good, peaceful and upward energy field."

All automobiles passing by slowed down and people happily accepted Dafa truth-clarifying materials and VCDs. Many people attentively listened to the practitioners clarifying the truth, and all people with a sense of justice condemned Jiang regime's persecution of innocent people.
