Australia: Falun Dafa Practitioners from Melbourne Call on Hong Kong Authority to Immediately Dismiss the Political Trial against Falun Gong Practitioners (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of August 6, Falun Dafa practitioners in Melbourne, Australia held peaceful sitting-in in front of the Chinese Embassy to protest the Jiang regime's persecution on Hong Kong people's freedom and democracy and call on Hong Kong authority to immediately dismiss the politically motivated accusation against the 16 Falun Gong practitioners.

The spokeswoman on the scene said, we, Falun Dafa practitioners in Melbourne call on all people with a sense of justice over the world who love freedom and democracy to pay attention to the ongoing politically motivated accusation in Hong Kong against the 16 Falun Dafa practitioners. On March 14, 2002, four practitioners from Sweden and 12 from Hong Kong held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Liaison Office in Hong Kong to urge the Jiang Zemin regime to immediately stop the persecution on the tens of millions of innocent Falun Gong practitioners in China. Their appeal was peaceful and quiet. But the Hong Kong police used violence to arrest them and later made a false accusation to accuse these 16 practitioners for "obstructing traffic" and "attacking the police".

The political trial started on June 7. The originally planned 11 business days of trial had been postponed and prolonged again and again till today. The prosecutor is not able to provide any solid evidence. According to analysis of photos and video footages taken on the spot of the incident, the Hong Kong police's accusation of "obstruction" and "attacking police" is untenable. However, under the pressure from the Jiang Zemin regime who put themselves above the law, this groundless accusation becomes a political trial. It is essentially a persecution of the Falun Gong practitioners over the entire world who follow the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. It is also a violation of Hong Kong people's rights of freedom and democracy.

She said, we deeply concern about the Hong Kong people's future. Hong Kong people's right of freedom and democracy dose not only need to be upheld by the Hong Kong people with their sense of justice, but also needs attention from all people over the world who love peace and democracy. This is because, to safeguard a nation's dignity, uphold the human rights of freedome of belief and to uphold peace in the world one needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
