(Clearwisdom.net) On August 5, 2002, Russian Dafa practitioners peacefully gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in Moscow, to urge the Jiang's regime to immediately stop the brutal persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners in Mainland China and Hong Kong who believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."
Peaceful and touching Dafa music and songs resonated in the sky over the embassy. The practitioners held banners reading "Falun Dafa--Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," "Stop persecuting Falun Gong in China, "Good and evil will get their due returns, awaken your conscience." They also practiced the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts, and at the same time handed out Dafa truth-clarifying literature and materials.
Our peaceful activity drew attention of several media outlets and TV networks, including Independent TV corporation, AP, Reuters, Russian TV station TB-6, Tass News Agency and Russian City News Agency. They all came to cover the event. In addition, representatives from Organization for safeguarding human rights and from news agency of protecting belief campaign came to express their support to us.
While being interviewed, the practitioners expressed that they held such a peaceful gathering was to let the public know the truth about the Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Dafa practitioners in China over the past three years, and to expose Jiang's fabricated rumors and defamation. We also urged the Jiang's regime to immediately stop the illegal suppression on Falun Gong practitioners and their relatives, and to immediately cancel the false charges and unlawful prosecution against Dafa practitioners in Hong Kong. We also requested the Chinese Embassy to immediately stop spreading lies in Russia and stop threatening and interfering with Russian Dafa practitioners. The practitioners introduced to the reporters about Falun Dafa and its wide spread over 50 countries all over the world. Some practitioners shared their cultivation experiences with reporters.
All automobiles passing by slowed down and people happily accepted Dafa truth-clarifying materials and VCDs. Many people attentively listened to the practitioners clarifying the truth, and all people with a sense of justice condemned Jiang regime's persecution of innocent people.
