Cases of Karmic Retribution In Shahe City, Hebei Province

The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.]

A female Dafa practitioner in Ximao village was sent to a forced labor camp. Her elder sister took care of her approximately 4 year-old daughter. This Dafa practitioner walked out of the labor camp using her righteous thoughts. From there she went to her elder sister's home to look for the child. When she arrived there, she saw that her brother-in-law, who originally suffered from bone necrosis, was able to walk normally. Her brother-in-law said "After we took in your child, I was so busy taking care of her I forgot to take my medicine. But now I don't feel any pain in my legs. Look, I have recovered." According to incomplete statistics, there are five Dafa practitioners in Shahe City who have recovered from bone necrosis, which is such a difficult illness to heal. It is no coincidence that Falun Dafa brings good health to people who are committed to being good people.

In Dongcui Village, there is a person who earns a living by raising chickens. He always tells the villagers that Falun Dafa is good. This spring, a contagious livestock disease that affects chickens was spreading rampantly. His chickens, which didn't have any vaccinations for the disease were unaffected and still alive, but the chickens at other households, which had received vaccinations, all died in a single night.

A young woman in Zhangyu Village had several physical examinations this July. Both the Xingtai hospital and Shahe hospital diagnosed her as having breast cancer and suggested she have surgery immediately. However, after hearing this news, she didn't go to the hospital but instead she practiced Falun Gong at home. In only six or seven days, the cancer disappeared. Now her family and relatives are all believers in Falun Gong.

A thirteen-year-old elementary student was once injured by electricity. As a result, one of her fingers was bent in and stuck to the palm of her hand. Last year, in a school test, she erased content that slandered Dafa, and wrote instead " Falun Dafa is righteous." Soon thereafter, her finger reverted to its normal position.

On several occasions, Xi Zhanjun, the superintendent of the Shahe City Police Department, arrested Dafa practitioners who were going to appeal in Beijing. Recently, he was diagnosed with liver cancer. He was afraid that people would say that he received karmic retribution for persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, so he had surgery outside of his hometown to avoid people talking.

Yuan Zengguo, the director of Shahe City "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems], ran a brainwashing class for Dafa practitioners this spring. Some people tried to persuade him not to do such a thing but he did it anyway. After several days he was diagnosed with having heart disease. However, after that he still didn't enlighten and coutinued to run the brainwashing class. Soon after he also began to suffer from intervertebral disc problems.

Jia Chifeng, an officer of Shahe City's Police Department, was involved in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. He arrested many Dafa practitioners without charge, and fined them more than one million Yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan]. He constantly extorted money from them. He has since been laid off from his job and now works as a temporary worker in another detention center.

Wang Xia is a government official in Shahe City. Wang teamed up with the director of the "610 office" and went to Zeng county to arrest Dafa practioners and put them into a brainwashing class. Now he has been diagnosed with liver cancer. He was afraid of people saying that he received karmic retribution for his evil deeds, so he kept the information to himself to avoid people talking.

The chief of the City Education Bureau, Zhang Gengyan, persecuted Dafa practitioners in his unit, slandered Falun Gong, and stopped payment of salaries to Dafa practitioners. He was laid off recently as a result.

Secretary Wang in Gequan Coal Mine (in Xingtai City) persecuted Dafa. He ran brainwashing classes many times, forced Dafa practitioners to write guarantee letters, pay fines, dismissed Dafa practitioners and so on. Recently, because he had improper relations with a prostitute working at a dance hall in Xingtai, he was arrested and fired from his job.

In the end of 2001, the Chief of the Zhang Village Coal Mine Police Station, Xiao Gengchen, kidnapped Dafa practitioners and brought them to a brainwashing class. On the following day, he went to a hospital because of heart disease and had to have surgery. It cost him 80,000 Yuan to buy an expensive gift for his doctors in return for good care.

Hu Wenxue, a security officer of the coal mine, kidnapped Dafa practitioners to a county brainwashing class. A few days later, he was diagnosed as having a tumor on his liver, and had to have surgery to remove it.

Residents' community director, Cai persecuted Falun Gong and Dafa practitioners many times. He was hospitialized many times. Now he has come to understand that persecuting Falun Gong brings bad things upon oneself.
