Averting Arrest Using Powerful Righteous Thoughts

(Clearwisdom.net) As Jiang visited Beidaihe (a famous resort in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, where the central government leaders meet every summer to hold annual meetings.) this summer, the local Security Department intensified the persecution of Dafa practitioners. Following are some incidents that took place in Qinhuangdao at that time.

1. Non-practitioners witnessing the injustice spoke out vehemently to protect a Dafa practitioner from arrest

One day in mid-July, the local Security Department wanted to illegally arrest a Dafa practitioner. The practitioner remained calm, and started to speak out the facts and expose the persecution to the bystanders. An old lady in her 80s said, "His [the practitioner's] whole family are all good people. It is not a crime to stay at home! If you want to arrest him, come and arrest me first." Other witnesses also stated that such injustice was against heaven's principles, and the perpetrators would certainly face retribution for their wrong actions later. The people were vehement and angry, so the police finally gave up. However, they later arrested this practitioner from his hometown Tangshan, and sent him to Shanhaiguan brainwashing class.

2. A Dafa disciple at Linheli in Qinhuangdao sent forth righteous thoughts, and averted arrest seven times

One evening in mid-July, police from the Security Department tried to arrest a female Falun Dafa practitioner. During their first three attempts, the practitioner sent forth righteous thoughts, and they could not arrest her. The next three times, the practitioner sent forth righteous thoughts while clarifying the truth, and the police left each time.

By the 7^th time, the police were enraged, and seven or eight police officers attempted to break into the practitioner's home. This drew the attention of the neighbors. The Dafa disciple sent forth righteous thoughts and braced the door lock firmly from the inside. This went on for more than 40 minutes, and the police was still unable to force open the lock. Finally, the police broke down the door, and shoved the practitioner's 70 year-old mother to the ground, causing bleeding to her head. The disciple's mother, who had been inside the door trying to protect her daughter, immediately had a heart attack. Despite the situation, this Dafa disciple was not afraid. She continued to send forth righteous thoughts while clarifying the truth to the surrounding people to expose the nature of the crimes. At that time, she thought, "Teacher, please help me. I will never accept this injustice. Whatever is causing this persecution should be eliminated so that no harm will come to any other person." At that moment, a strong man stood up from among the people and said, "If you dare to arrest her, we will never let it happen." The police did not know what to do and said to the practitioner, "We will not take you away as long as you write a letter of guarantee not to go to Beidaihe or Beijing to appeal." She replied, "No, I won't write such a letter." A police officer then asked her husband, "It will be ok if you write the letter for her." He replied, "I don't know how to write." The police could do nothing, so they just left.

3. Break through tribulations with righteous thoughts, and return home in an open and aboveboard manner

One afternoon in late July, a group of police officers went to a female Dafa disciple's home, intending to arrest her. The practitioner had been to Beijing many times to appeal for Dafa, and had conducted a hunger strike while being detained. Several times, she had averted the persecution planned against her due to the power of her righteous thoughts. This time, she thought that being beaten, tortured, and forced to hunger strike in the past were also unacceptable. Thus she decided not to cooperate whatsoever. When the police guards came to arrest her, she suddenly "fainted" to the ground. The vicious policemen did not express any concern for her condition, and carried her away. While she was still unconscious, the practitioner could see the evil, being suppressed in layers upon layers of dimensions. With her righteous faith and her heart to protect others from danger, she appealed to Teacher for help. Suddenly there was thunder in the heavens, and it destroyed the evil. Correspondingly in our dimension, thunder was followed by heavy rain. She was sent to the Police Hospital. After examination, the doctor said, "She is in a life-threatening condition. You have tortured her to this extent. We cannot accept her here, now please take her away." Since the threat from other dimensions had been completely eliminated, the police had to send her home.

4. Illuminating the colossal firmament

One afternoon in early August, police from the Security Department planned to illegally arrest a Falun Dafa practitioner to the brainwashing center. The practitioner sent forth powerful righteous thoughts, and commanded heavenly thunder to clean up the evils in other dimensions that control people. After that, all five policemen left. I observed what happened in other dimensions: First, dark clouds arrived, followed by blasting thunder that shook the earth. I then told my colleagues, "The weather has suddenly changed and it keeps thundering. There must be bad things being eliminated in other dimensions." Soon afterwards, strong winds accompanied by more thunder and heavy rain started to pour out from the heavens. After a while, the sky turned clear again, and it was splendid beyond description.
