When Japanese practitioner Yoko Kaneko was detained and illegally sentenced because of going back China to appeal to the Chinese government, Canadian practitioners thought that it was not only the Japanese practitioners' business, but the business of practitioners from all over the world. We thus sought to help rescue her, as well as take the opportunity to clarify the truth, and we did so by taking our initiative to the people in the Japanese community of Canada. We introduced Falun Dafa to them and informed them of the fact that Yoko Kaneko is being persecuted in China. Mr. G , after he had heard the truth, was very willing to do something to rescue Yoko Kaneko. He kindly offered to write a letter to appeal to all his friends in the Japanese community to call for her immediate release. He also pledged to help us get in touch with more Japanese communities, in order to let other people know about the truth. And before long, Mr. G wrote such a touching letter!

I came to understand more why Master asked us to "hurry up and tell them", because all the sentient beings are waiting to hear the truth of Dafa, to better position themselves for the moment when the Fa rectifies the human world. In addition, we should make use of every opportunity to clarify the truth to the people of different segments of society, different nationalities, and backgrounds.

Below is the letter that Mr. G wrote to the Japanese community of Canada to call on more people to participate in helping rescue Yoko Kaneko.

Hello everyone,

Very recently, I was informed by a friend of mine that a Falun Gong practitioner in Japan is currently suffering from being detained and tortured in China. I hereby would like to call on all my Japanese friends' attention, to take action to help rescue her, in order to prevent a case of being possibly tortured to death from happening.

Yoko Kaneko's Chinese name is Luo Rong. She was from China, and is now married to a Japanese, Atsushi Kaneko. She is a practitioner of Falun Gong, aka, Falun Dafa. For some reason that I can't understand, the Jiang regime banned practicing Falun Gong, and has been persecuting many Falun Gong practitioners. It was verified that the number of deaths has exceeded 400, while the actual death figure can be a few times more.

When Yoko Kaneko went with another two Japanese practitioners to China, Chinese police arrested them. The two Japanese practitioners ended up being deported to Japan, but they detained Yoko because she is a Chinese citizen. Later on, she was tortured physically and mentally. Very recently, through the help of Japanese congressmen, Atsushi Kaneko was able to meet Yoko at a Chinese forced labor camp. He said: "Yoko did not have a very clear consciousness, and she looked like a completely different person to me."

I understand that we aren't supposed to always apply Japanese or Canadian benchmarks to other countries. However, no matter what standard we use, it is absolutely unacceptable the way the Jiang regime treats Yoko Kaneko and other thousands of Falun Dafa practitioners. If it doesn't change its policy towards Falun Gong, then as part of the international community, we must press them to stop the persecution. I hope that Yoko will be rescued in time, to prevent a greater tragedy from happening. I hope our efforts will also help other innocent Falun Gong practitioners in China.
