Clarifying the Truth to College Students at the University of Missouri Fall Open House

On Thursday, September 5, 2002, a Fall Open House was held at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Every year, this open house is a great opportunity for students to learn about different campus organizations. This year, many student clubs and organizations eagerly participated.

Falun Dafa practitioners in Columbia took advantage of the great opportunity to educate their fellow students about the beauty of Falun Gong and about the brutal persecution by the Jiang regime in China. A middle-aged visiting scholar from China in the Department of Journalism said that he saw the brutality of the persecution himself in China and felt sickened by it. After they learned the truth, many people became very angry at what the head of the PRC and his regime have done to Falun Gong. They were especially surprised to hear that the evil PRC leader will be visiting the US this October. They were eager to sign postcards that would be sent to President Bush, asking the President to speak out and demand an immediate end to this brutal persecution. Many people took extra postcards so that their friends and colleagues could sign them and send them to President Bush.
