Liaoning Province "610 Office" Kidnaps, Beats, and Sentences Practitioners At Will

(Clearwisdom.net) Liaoning province "610 office" [a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches] and the police station pool together human, material and financial resources to persecute Dafa practitioners. They stalk, ambush and arrest Dafa practitioners on the streets, bridges and in remote places. They even lure greedy people with high rewards to report Dafa practitioners to them.

This summer, they went from abducting and detaining practitioners in secret, to kidnapping them publicly. On August 8^th 2002, Jingzhou city police bureau dispatched many police cars and over 10 plainclothes policemen, in broad daylight, to the crematorium to kidnap Dafa practitioners who were at the farewell ceremony of Cao Shufang, a Dafa practitioner, who was tortured to death at the police station. They also arrested 50 other Dafa practitioners at the crematorium. Moreover, four policemen from Dalian City Chunhai police station kidnapped Dafa practitioner Ma Xiuqing while at work at 4 o'clock in the afternoon of August 12^th 2002.

The Security Bureau continues tracking down practitioners and monitoring the telephones, cellular phones, and networks (Internet, etc) of those practitioners who have been forced to abandon their own homes and are so-called key members who used to practice Falun Gong.

Since this spring, most of the jails stopped letting families and relatives visit Falun Gong practitioners who are being illegally detained. Falun Gong practitioners are forced to endure even more intense brainwashing, and brutal torture both mentally and physically.

Since the beginning of August, Liaoning province has launched a new round of updated persecution methods. As soon as they catch Dafa practitioners, they sentence them right away, especially those who hand out truth-clarification materials, post truth-clarification flyers and make truth-clarification materials. Very recently, in Jingzhou city alone, there were up to 146 Dafa practitioners adducted and brought to detention centers. As soon as the police stations detain Dafa practitioners, they set up legal cases, prosecutors put them on trial, and then the court hastily gives them sentences. These kinds of procedures are carried out in secret, as they are completely illegal.

The vicious policemen don't allow certain policemen to have too much contact with the practitioners. They setup "help to educate" teams, and some policemen (who are not malicious) aren't allowed to be a part of it or know anything about it. The steadfast practitioners are separated from other practitioners and sent to a place where they are totally isolated from the outside world in order to "save" them. In order to cover their crimes, before and after the forced brainwashing, the practitioners are completely isolated and no family or relatives are allowed to visit them. Based on the news passed on to the outside, Dafa practitioners are beaten three times a day while being brainwashed.

In all cities, counties, districts and villages in Liaoning province, Dafa practitioners are under a new round of persecution. Any Dafa practitioners who haven't been sent to brainwashing classes and even those released from forced labor camps, must be sent to brainwashing classes. Some Dafa practitioners are enduring torture in the brainwashing classes. Those evil people claimed: "Those who aren't transformed in the classes will be sent to forced labor camps." Many Dafa practitioners are forced to leave their jobs, homes and families in order to avoid further persecution.
