The Fa-Rectification Paths of Seven Members of My Family

(Clearwisdom.net) Before I obtained the Fa in June 1997, I was afflicted with many illnesses. After practicing Dafa for only 20 days, I was able to read without wearing glasses and my illnesses disappeared. My family members also joined in cultivation, one after another.

My son, his wife and child lived in Jimo City, Shandong Province. After July 20, 1999, government officials attempted to force my son to leave Shandong Province without any legal procedure, but my son refused. The police then began to torture him. They forced my son to bend his neck and walk while half-squatted with his hands tied up at the same time. It was the hottest of summers and they did this to my son for three days in a row, while withholding food and water from him. They beat and cursed him every day. My son was tortured so severely that he was on the verge of death, so the police released him. After he got out of jail, my son went to Beijing to appeal but was arrested and sent to a liaison office in Beijing. The police took away all of his money and released him. My son and his family were under such persecution that they could not stay in Shandong Province any longer, so he returned to his hometown and successfully participated in activities designed to clarify the true facts of the persecution to the people who had been mislead by the propaganda.

On December 12, 2000, my son, his wife and child went to Beijing to appeal, along with another fellow practitioner and his family. In Tiananmen Square, the four adults were arrested and the two children were left alone. My grandson said to a 12-year-old fellow practitioner, "I want to unfurl a banner in Tiananmen Square." The other child said, "I'll go to Jinshui Bridge." The two children have never taken long distance trips but they had no fear at all when facing ubiquitous police officers in Tiananmen.

In mid-May 2001, my other son was arrested by police when attending a Fa conference. He was illegally held in a detention center where he endured all kinds of tortures. He was also illegally sentenced to eight years in prison at the end of 2001. First he was detained in the No. 3 Jail in Haerbin City, Heilongjiang Province. He developed pus all over his body from the physical abuse. He also incurred serious heart disease and was on the verge of death. Yet the police wouldn't release him. His happy family was thus broken up.

Prior to their arrest, my second-oldest daughter and youngest daughter were validating Dafa. They held Fa conferences, printed materials and distributed flyers, and did other things for Dafa. They were successful in their activities to clarify the true facts about Dafa. Many fellow practitioners in that area became diligent because of their actions. During the Chinese New Year, January 24, 2001, my youngest daughter was coming to my home for the celebration, but the police broke into my home and arrested her. She was forcibly detained in a forced labor camp for two years and right now she is being detained at the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp.

My second-oldest daughter was indefinitely detained after being illegally arrested in 2001. She suffered all kinds of tortures. Before the Chinese New Year of 2001, she was illegally sentenced to nine years in prison. Right now she is being detained at the Nangang Women's Prison in Harbin City, where she is being tortured. Her husband and child were forced to leave home to avoid illegal arrest.

My spouse and I went to Beijing many times after July 20, 1999. On October 27, 2000, the local police broke into my home and took my wife and I to a detention center. I was released after holding a hunger strike in the detention center. Three days later, I went to Beijing to appeal. This time, I was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor. I was detained at the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp, along with my youngest daughter. On January 8, 2001 [Chinese lunar calendar], in order to validate the greatness of Dafa, we recited Lunyu in a group in the cafeteria and were brutally beaten by guards. A guard kicked me and broke one of my ribs, which did not heal until two months later.

After we were released, my wife and I were forced to leave home to avoid illegal arrest and further persecution. We overcame much difficulty and persisted in promoting the Fa and clarifying the truth, so that more kind-hearted people will know that Falun Dafa is good. We call for kind-hearted people around the world to learn about Falun Dafa and stop evil Jiang and his accomplices' persecution against Dafa practitioners in China!
