This year, the "Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Annual Conference" was held in the Washington Conference Center from September 11 to 14. The Falun Dafa practitioners in Washington DC actively participated in the conference exhibition and carefully decorated the Falun Dafa booth. House Resolution #188 was prominently displayed at the Dafa booth to express our appreciation to the 38 African American members of Congress who voted for the resolution (altogether 420 members of Congress voted for the resolution).

During the four-day exhibition, practitioners played the Falun Dafa Exercise Instruction Video and distributed over 1000 truth-clarifying flyers as well as numerous VCDs of "The Real Story of Falun Gong" to visitors, which helped the African Americans come to learn more about Falun Dafa. Each day people expressed their interests in learning the exercises and asked for information about the group practice sites. Through these conversations, practitioners found out that many African Americans know little about Falun Dafa and some of them have never heard of it before. Even though some visitors have heard about Falun Dafa and some facts of the illegal and brutal persecution in China, after the practitioners clarified the truth to them more thoroughly, they were shocked by how cruel and bloody the Jiang Regime is. They also took the postcards to send to President Bush calling for a end to the persecution.

There were also some Chinese at the exhibition. The practitioners did not miss any chance to clarify the truth to Chinese people. They passed out truth materials in Chinese. Three Chinese visitors wanted to buy the Exercises Instruction Video after practitioners explained to them the benefits of practicing Falun Gong. During the four-day exhibition, practitioners' enthusiasm and peaceful manner also attracted the attention of the people in nearby booths. On the last day, a young girl signaled a practitioner to their booth when there weren't many visitors. She wanted to know about Falun Dafa and said that she would go to the practice site after the exhibition. During those few days, when practitioners demonstrated the exercises, many people stopped to watch the beautiful movements and some children began to follow along.
