Dafa Practitioners Hung from Trees by Labor Camp Officials

(Clearwisdom.net) After July 1999, lawless thugs from the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City kidnapped Dafa practitioners who were illegally sentenced to forced labor, from various areas in Hebei Province. These practitioners were tortured by means so cruel that it is unimaginable. It was very common for the practitioners to be hung from trees. Sometimes, all of trees were used to hang Dafa practitioners, no tree was empty, and two practitioners were hung from each tree.

Since the authorities kidnapped too many practitioners, in October 2000, the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp officials transferred male Dafa practitioners to the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp in Baoding City for further persecution; 200 female practitioners for whom the labor camp had no space were transferred to the male group. Even the patient ward of the labor camp clinic was converted into prison cells for Dafa practitioners. The garden, exercise yard and the classroom in the training center of the labor camp all became the places where Dafa practitioners were tortured. Dafa practitioners were often hung from trees. The agonized screams of Dafa practitioners when being beaten could be constantly heard. Several male criminals at a time had often force-fed female practitioners who held long-term hunger strikes. Some were hung on trees for several days and nights. Initially, practitioners who held a hunger strike were forced to do manual labor while being beaten, and later they were forced to run and walk "square army steps."

Even more brutal was to forcibly send many Dafa practitioners to the Ankang Hospital in Tangshan City, a mental institution, where they were injected with drugs that destroy the central nervous system. One practitioner was force-fed for more than 200 days in the Ankang Hospital. Another practitioner, from Langfang, Hebei Province, was tortured and disabled. A third practitioner, from Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, was tortured to death.

In order to reach the goal of "reforming" the practitioners, the labor camp thugs tied the practitioners onto chairs for days and nights during which time the practitioners were not allowed to sleep. The thugs surrounded and brutally beat the practitioners. This is the reality of the truth behind the "gentle reformation like spring rain."

With brutal tortures, a practitioner around 80 years of age was forced to hang himself [gender is not clear from Chinese report]. In order to cover up their crime of the brutal persecution, the labor camp claimed he committed suicide. It's completely twisting the truth.

Hereby we want to solemnly warn the evil thugs at the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp: Stop the crime immediately or you will receive grave punishment from the heavenly laws.

Vicious male guard: Wang Xueli. He routinely shocks practitioners with an electric baton.
