Lin Lixin, female, 40s, from Mudanjiang was arrested by police on January 16, 2002 and secretly sentenced to six years. Since April 2002, she has been on hunger strike to protest the persecution. The inmates all admire her. In order to force her to give up her belief in Dafa, the police officers have fed her burning mustard oil several times, as much as two bottles. After failing to put the tube through her mouth, they put the tube through her nose and left it there for a long time. Her stomach was damaged so that she vomited blood many times. On July 12, 2002, they had to send her to Mudanjiang Third Hospital for two days, for resuscitation. On August 23, they brought her back to the detention center. Lin is terribly emaciated. Her legs are thinner than ordinary people's arms, her eyes are closed all day, and she cannot speak or move. Yet the police still keep heavy foot cuffs on her.

In Handan Forced Labor Camp's first Squad, the inmates all know that Falun Gong practitioners are good people who never hit back or swear. Wu Feng, the head of the squad, told the practitioners, "As long as you fight with others or swear, you are 'transformed'." This is the standard that Jiang's regime is using to "transform" Dafa practitioners.

Pan Zhenfang, male, 40s, is a native of Lizhuang Village in the town of Xinji in Sanhe City. Between October 1999 and December 2000, he went to Beijing four times to appeal for Dafa. The chief of Xinji Police Station, Wang Zhendong, and other people have beaten and verbally abused him. Once they stripped him and cuffed him to a pole for a whole night in very cold weather. The police extorted money from his family despite their economic difficulties, once for as much as 2000 Yuan. After the 2001 Spring Festival, they illegally sent Pan to Wanzhuang Forced Labor Camp in Langfang for three years. He then was transferred to Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp. There, because he announced that his statement of stopping the practice of Falun Gong was invalid, they cuffed him to the ground continuously for more than 10 days, where he could only squat on the ground. They now illegally detain him at the fifth squad in Xinxin Metal Factory in the town of Laofotou in Anxin County and force him to do heavy physical labor for more than ten hours a day.

Pan's wife Zhang Chunhua, 40s, went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa and was illegally sent to Tangshan Forced Labor Camp for one year.

Shijiazhuang City 3502 Factory and Jingxing Mining Police arrest Dafa practitioners many times. In July 2002, they arrested female practitioners Wang Pengpeng and Zhang Lingxia and illegally sentenced them to a forced labor camp. Zhang was sentenced to two years.

In August 2002, the police arrested female practitioners Li Xinhua and Ma Qing. Li escaped from the police station with righteous thought. The police escalated the torture of Ma by means of threatening, beating and verbal abuse in order to force her to tell Li's whereabouts. They cuffed Ma with one arm crossing her shoulder and one arm twisted behind her back. Her wrists were pinched so hard the handcuffs cut into her flesh. They threatened to shock her if she did not tell Li's whereabouts, slapped her, and did not allow her to sleep for three days and two nights. Zhao Weisheng, the president of the 3502 Factory, illegally fired Li Xinhua, Ma Qing, and Zhang Lingxia.

On the morning of August 25, 2002, two police officers arrested Zhang Kexuan, male, 40s, on the street and sent him to Zhouyuan District Police Branch of the Lishanzhai Police Station. The police then confiscated his home. He is now being detained at the Zhengzhou Xihuan Lu Wanqing Shanzhuang Brainwashing Center and is not allowed to see his family. I am a Dafa practitioner from a village in Hebei province. Since the persecution began in 1999, the police frequently came to my home, searched for Dafa books, interrogated and threatened me.
