Supplementary Material: The Second "Wang Jindong" (the Character in Staged Tiananmen Self-Immolation) and His Wife and Daughter

Editor's note: Many of the obvious loopholes in the staged "self-immolation" on Tiananmen Square at the beginning of 2001 were exposed one after another by keen observers. In addition, the true identification of Liu Chunling, who was beaten to death by a military officer with a hard object during the "self-immolation" (see "STAGED TRAGEDY: Self-Immolation in Tiananmen Square" on http://fgmtv.net/truth.htm), was revealed by an overseas reporter. However, Jiang's regime continues to try to keep the general public in the dark through their strict information blockade. In the meantime, they continue to incite hatred toward those who cultivate "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance", hoping to somehow justify the persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners.

In the staged "self-immolation" episode, Wang Jindong was accused as the organizer. However, this person as presented by the authorities has three distinctly different pictures, and even the accent of his speech is inconsistent from one story to another. According to the official story, Wang is from Kaifeng City of Henan Province. However, the difference between the Henan accent (of the 2^nd Wang) and the Beijing accent (of the 1^st Wang) is as big as that between Scottish English and American English.

The second "Wang Jindong" appeared in "Focal Point Interview" [a CCTV television program made by the Chinese government], sounding completely different from the first Wang Jindong, who appeared in the "self-immolation" video released by the authorities. Their ears and faces are also different. However, presented as a Falun Gong practitioner, he talked about this "self-immolation" episode on television to attack Falun Gong. Instigated by the authorities and accompanied by his wife and daughter, he also went to the Zhengzhou City Shibalihe Female Labor Camp to spread his so-called stories of cultivation and "self-immolation," all in order to confuse the public. This second Wang Jindong indeed spent some time at a Falun Gong practice site, but he wasn't known as a genuine practitioner. However, now he claimed that he had understood "the principles at even higher levels" and that he "had burned himself in order to pursue consummation."

The background of this second Wang Jindong's wife and daughter is unclear. However, on the very day that they were sent to the Shibalihe Female Labor Camp, they started to help the officials there to persecute Dafa practitioners. In the winter of 2001, the wife and daughter of this second Wang Jindong cooperated with the guards in beating and verbally abusing Dafa practitioners in the same cell. They tied up practitioners Zhao Aixiang and Nian Ailian, who are over 50 years old, and started to tear at their hair, slap their faces, and beat and kick them. The torture lasted over two hours. The wife and daughter of this second Wang Jindong took off these practitioners' coats and forced them stay outside in the cold winter weather, while each practitioner only wore a thin layer of clothes. During the "security examination," as is called by the guards, Wang's wife and daughter helped the guards to search the Dafa practitioners for Master Li's articles. They have done all kinds of evil deeds. In addition, under the instruction of the ruling regime, the "6.10 Office" and the labor camp guards, they have traveled to many different places in China to deceive people and slander Falun Gong.
