As Long As We Hold Pure Righteous Thoughts...

(Clearwisdom.net) When we encounter hardships and tribulations along the paths of our cultivation, it's critical for us as individual practitioners to have determined righteous thoughts. If we are determined, then the tribulations are nothing.

I went to appeal in Beijing to validate Dafa in November 2000, and I was detained in theYanqing Detention Center. One prisoner tried to force me to curse our Master but I refused. They then wanted to punish me on the weekend, but I was taken home by policemen from my hometown before then.

The local policemen tried to force me to give up Dafa, saying that I would be sent to a labor camp, but I refused with steadfastness. Afterwards, I was released with help from my colleagues at work.

In May 2001, I was releasing a lot of karma in the form of cavities. Half of my face was swollen, and even my eyelids were swollen. I couldn't open my mouth and had to live on a liquid diet. Sometimes I couldn't sleep due to the pain, but I felt fine while practicing the Falun Gong exercises. Later on I was fine after two bones that were thumbnail-sized, full of spurs, emerged and were extracted from my gums. The doctor said that infection from tooth decay would be very dangerous, but he couldn't explain what happened in my case.

Some people turned me in to the police, and they trapped me inside my home. Having found some Dafa materials, the police ordered me to go out of the house and get into the police car, but I firmly refused. I asked our Teacher to help me leave there. Then the policeman who was guarding me went inside the house to search for things, so I was able to escape. At that moment, a relative of mine came in from outside and blocked the police, so I could get away from them. However, I was still arrested several days later due to my attachments. While in detention, I was interrogated many times. Even though my work unit threatened to fire me, I never gave up my cultivation and resisted them firmly. Finally I came out of the detention center with righteous thoughts. To avoid further persecution, I left home and went from place to place.

One day before New Year's Day of 2002, while I was in a relative's home, the dog started to bark loudly. When I looked outside, I saw the police coming to the front door. I immediately left the house from the side door. According to my relative, there were about 4 to 5 policemen who came to arrest me, with only one of them in uniform walking in the front. Had I not seen that first policeman because the dog warned me, I wouldn't have been alerted.

As long as we look at things from the perspective of the Fa and maintain pure, righteous minds, Dafa will display its miracles to us. Fellow practitioners, let us strive forward together, and be determined in our righteous thoughts!
