Topic of Conversation in Chongqing City: The Only Honest And Upright Official Is Arrested and Killed

(Clearwisdom.net) Zhang Fangliang, the previous vice head of Rongchang County, Chongqing City, went to Tongliang County to hand out truth-clarification flyers. After he was arrested by the Tongliang County "610 office" [a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches], local residents had many discussions about him, and there was a driver working for a government agency who said, "Oh, my goodness! The only honest and upright official in Rongchang County was arrested. Instead, those corrupt officials are safe."

After Dafa practitioner Zhang Fangliang was killed in police custody, mourners who came to his wife's place of business were not allowed to come inside, (the original plan was to set up a mourning hall at his wife's company).

There was a farmer who sold vegetables nearby who asked, "Who died?" "The vice head of our County," one onlooker answered. The farmer laughed, "He took too much advantage of others; he deserved it." Another onlooker said, "It's not true. He was an honest and upright official and he never took advantage of farmers when he went to visit them. He rolled up his sleeves and worked with farmers, and he paid for his own meals when he attended conferences. He didn't accept any bribes." The farmer then said sadly, "Are you referring to the vice head of the county who was in charge of agriculture, by the name of Zhang Fangliang? He was indeed a very good person, an honest and upright official."

Rongchang "610 office" members were trying to cover up the fact that Zhang Fangliang's death had been caused by the injection of an unknown drug at Tongliang County hospital. They forced the hearse to the crematorium, demanded that his body be cremated as soon as possible, sent many policemen there to be on guard, and prevented people from mourning him. Chongqing city Rongchang County "610 Office" personnel even spread rumors that Dafa practitioner Zhang Fangliang committed suicide by going on hunger strike. As usual, they were trying to deceive people with lies.

In response to this, we suggest practitioners who get this news make use of all effective methods to clarify the facts of why Zhang Fangliang was persecuted to death, in order for more people to get to know the truth.
