(Clearwisdom.net) Peng Hongbing, deputy chief of Dashiba Police Station of Jiangbei District, Chongqing City has been continuously persecuting Dafa practitioners. In early 2002, when a Falun Gong practitioner was distributing truth-clarifying flyers on the street, policeman Peng Hongbing suddenly opened fire on him in broad daylight. This Falun Gong practitioner managed to get away safely, but the bullet accidentally injured a young woman passing by. Due to this accident, Peng Hongbing was dismissed from his post and had to take full responsibility for the young woman's medical expenses.

Many Dafa practitioners of Dashiba, Jiangbei District had their homes ransacked and were interrogated by Peng Hongbing. Five practitioners were sent to forced labor camps.
