By practitioners from Japan

(Clearwisdom.net) From August 24 to 29, 2002, the general assembly of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) was held at Yokohama, Japan. Several thousands of experts and scholars all over the world in the psychiatric field attended the assembly. Two American Falun Dafa practitioners, Dr. Sunny Lu, a psychiatrist from the University of Cincinnati and Ms. Viviana Galli, a psychiatrist from Ohio State also attended the assembly.

Practitioners in Japan carefully prepared a set of truth-clarifying materials. They especially compiled a number of cases written in Japanese, which described how China abuses psychiatry to persecute Falun Gong practitioners and sent it to Japanese psychiatrists who attended the WPA convention.

Before and during the WPA convention, practitioners also held the photo exhibition, "Peaceful Journey of Falun Dafa" near the convention hall. On the streets that lead to the convention hall, practitioners from Yokohama and other areas distributed large amounts of Dafa truth-clarifying materials in Japanese, English and Chinese to the convention attendees. As of the end of the assembly, nearly 20,000 copies of materials had been handed out.
