How Can We Do Better In Clarifying the Truth

(Clearwisdom.net) Our Dafa practitioners are doing a lot of truth-clarification work each day. Master pointed out in "Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference: "You've all seen that people outside of Mainland China are getting more and more clearheaded. This is a reflection of Dafa disciples' clarifying the truth, and it's also because the force of Fa-rectification has cleared out more of the evil and made it so that the evil can't control the world's people anymore." So, how can we do better in truth clarification in this Fa-rectification environment?

Summarizing past experiences and lessons, I have come up with the following thoughts.

1. Treat people with compassion

Our goal is to clarify the truth as well as we can to everyday people. Many of them, including many influential people in the Chinese government, don't know the truth. They are merely victims of Jiang's lies and propaganda, and they are not the ones who carry out the persecution. So we must be compassionate while clarifying the truth or appealing to them, not forgetting our responsibility of offering salvation to people.

2. Keep a sober mind

Whether we are clarifying the truth of Falun Gong, exposing the evil of the persecution, or exposing the crimes of Jiang's regime, it is all Dafa practitioners doing work for Fa-rectification, not ordinary people playing politics. We are not against China. We should keep a pure heart and a reasonable way of expression, and take care not to confuse ourselves with ordinary people.

3. Benevolent words and deeds

Exposing the evil also requires benevolent words and deeds. Let's have our words and deeds display our "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" from Dafa cultivation and the righteousness of Dafa practitioners. Having a great breadth of mind, maintaining a calm state of mind, remaining unmoved when facing problems, we can keep a benevolent heart without being affected by a human's fighting heart, complacency and fear.

Master pointed out in "Fa Rectification and Cultivation": "During the Fa-rectification, Dafa disciples have a different situation from when personal cultivation was done in the past. In the face of the groundless harming, in the face of the persecution of Dafa, and in the face of the injustice forced upon us, we cannot handle things or categorically accept things as before in personal cultivation, because Dafa disciples are now in the Fa-rectification period. ... Yet we are still cultivating and still have some last ordinary human attachments. When a problem arises, we have to examine ourselves first to see whether things are right or wrong on our part. If we determine that it is interference or damaging, when we deal with the specific problem we should try our best to be calm and kind to those people who are at the surface, because when the evil uses people, they usually aren't aware of it themselves (although the people who are used are usually either people whose thoughts are bad or people who have bad thoughts arising). As for the interference by evil in other dimensions, we must seriously eradicate it with righteous thoughts."

I think, for future Fa-rectification work, especially those with great numbers of participants, those large-scale activities concerning a broad social landscape, (e.g. government, media, websites, newspapers, magazines, radio and television, large-scale appeals, etc.), as long as everybody has the right heart, we will all bring out the best in ourselves as Dafa practitioners of the Fa-rectification period, truly become like what Master has said, "more and more mature, more and more rational, more and more clearheaded, more and more steadfast, and more and more able to take this evil's persecution seriously as we expose the evil's lies, validate Dafa, and save sentient beings." ("Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference") Let us truly take action to offer salvation for people.
