damaging to people's nerve systems. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Xiong Xianqing Is Arrested While at
Home At around 9:00 pm on December 19, 2002, Falun Dafa practitioner Xiong Xianqing from Chuangye
Village was arrested while at home. It was Wu Lanying who led the policemen to his home. Wu Lanying
was a practitioner, but quit practicing after the persecution began. She not only gave up
practicing, but also slandered Dafa on TV. Once again, she has collaborated with the evil in
persecuting Dafa practitioners. Her home phone number is: 86-459-4690394. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Truth-Clarifying CD Burning Location Is Sabotaged Around December 25, police from the Qianjin Branch of the Jiamusi Public Security Bureau arrested
two Falun Dafa practitioners and confiscated two CD burners and some CDs. Currently, one of the two
practitioners is being detained in the Jiamusi Detention Center and suffering from inhumane torture. Recently, the Qianjin Branch has arrested quite a few Falun Dafa practitioners and tried to force
them to disclose information about other practitioners using torture. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Material Printing Location Is Damaged On December 8, 2002, the material printing location in the Shuangyashan City was damaged, with
the confiscation of an all-in-one (printing, copying and faxing) machine and printing paper. Some
practitioners' rented home was searched as well. Then, the police stayed in their home and arrested
two practitioners who went there for a visit. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] A Spy It has been confirmed that Jingni, a female around 40 years old whose presently assumed name is
Li Chao, is a specially trained spy who infiltrated practitioners before the persecution officially
began. She is extremely good at making up stories. She claimed that she had been to Beijing and had
been jailed before. She's tried to deceive Dafa practitioners through using her vehicle, CD-RW, and
printer for seemingly good purposes. About five material sites have been damaged after coming into
contact with her. [Botou City, Hebei Province] The Police Torture Falun Dafa Practitioners The public security bureau and detention center in the city of Botou persecute Falun Dafa
practitioners. Practitioners keep explaining to them the truth about Falun Dafa and the principle,
"Good will be rewarded with good; evil will be met with evil." However, they don't listen
and instead laugh at the practitioners. In the four days following September 23 of 2002 more or
less, they arrested several dozen practitioners during the night. They coerced the practitioners
into writing the "statement of guarantee" (to give up practicing), and sent those who
refused to write the statement to detention centers for intensified persecution. They arrested, beat
up and senselessly employed various torture methods on practitioners. Under the unbearable torture,
Zhang Hua told them the location of the materials site. Consequently, four practitioners including
Hu Xianhua (female) and Zhang Shuicai were arrested. Scores of practitioners are currently being
detained. They are on a hunger strike, protesting against the illegal detention. Among them, a
practitioner whose last name is Xiao, is very weak and his life is in danger. He was sent to the
hospital for emergency treatment about ten days ago. We haven't heard anything else about Xiao's
situation. The following people are involved in the persecution: Hao Jianguo, vice-director of the public security bureau.
