The Current Status of Dafa Practitioners Illegally Sentenced to Detention Centers and Forced-Labor Camps in Henan Province

Four Dafa practitioners from Dengzhou City, Henan Province were illegally sentenced following their peaceful appeal in Beijing. Presently they are detained in Xinxiang City Detention Center.

• Ma Qinglan - Dengzhou City Department Store sales clerk; illegally sentenced to three years and a half.
• Li Qiuju - Dengzhou City Department Store sales clerk; unlawfully sentenced.
• Ding Shulan -- resident of Tianzhuang Village, Chenjiao Township, Dengzhou City; unlawfully sentenced.
• Zhang Fengzhou - resident of Yejiwang Village, Gaoji Township, Dengzhou City; unlawfully sentenced.

A portion of the Nanyang City Dafa practitioners who were illegally sentenced:

• Xu Tianci (female) -- Nanyang City Construction Company employee. She was arrested in March 2000 and detained at Shangzhuang Detention Center. Later she was unlawfully sentenced to three years, and sent to the Xinxiang City Detention Center.
• Niu Juan (female) -- Around 30 years old, she was kidnapped while clarifying the truth in 2001, and was unlawfully sentenced and sent to the Xinxiang City Detention Center.
• Wang San (Niu Juan's husband) -- had been detained for a long time by the police in Nanyang. His current status is unclear.
• Li Yuhua (female) -- Illegally sentenced and sent to Xinxiang City Detention Center.

A portion of the Nanyang City practitioners, who were illegally imprisoned in December 2002:

• Ding Jianying (female) -- Kidnapped in July 2001, by the police in Nanyang's Wolong District Public Security Division. She is being held in Nanyang Second Detention Center, after enduring cruel torture.
• Kui Yujuan (female) -- arrested yet again in July 2001, was subjected to cruel torture, and is presently being held at Nanyang Second Detention Center.
• Kui Yingxiang (Kui Yujuan's father) -- arrested again in August 2001, presently being held at Nanyang Second Detention Center.
• Wang ChunJian -- arrested again in August 2001, and detained in Nanyang Second Detention Center since.
• Zhou Shuhua (female) -- 60 years old, was kidnapped at home in May 2001, and has been held at Nanyang Detention Center for a long period.
• Tian Yuxi -- arrested again in March 2002, was subjected to severe torture in the hands of Wolong District public security police, and is presently held at Nanyang First Detention Center (located in Shangzhuang Village)
• Mao Changqing -- Kidnapped in March 2002, by police from Zaolin Police Station, was subjected to cruel torture by Wolong District public security police, and is currently kept at Nanyang First Detention Center (located in Shangzhuang Village)
• Li Jianzhou -- Kidnapped in March 2002, by police from Zaolin Police Substation, was subjected to torture by Wolong District public security police, and is currently kept at Nanyang First Detention Center (located in Shangzhuang Village)
• Wang Chunrui, Zhou Jinlan, and Li Jiewei -- Kidnapped in July 2002, their present status is unclear.
• Yang Guifan -- Kidnapped in the autumn of 2001, and presently held at Nanyang Second Detention Center.
• Zhang Yulian -- Went to Beijing to appeal at the end of 2000, was arrested and put in long-term detention at Shangzhuang Detention Center, and is now transferred to Nanyang Second Detention Center.
• Li Yan, Zhao Yuping -- Nanyang City Cigarette Factory employees. They were kidnapped by Xingye police, and have been unlawfully detained for over two years. Their present status is unclear.
• Liu Chunlan and daughter; Wang Qingge, and He Jiazhen -- Kidnapped at home in 2002, and are presently detained at Shangzhuang Detention Center.
• Shan Xinhuan -- an official at the Nanyang City Judicial Department, was detained during the summer of 2001 in Zhengzhou City, and released late that year. Afterwards he was again arrested by Nanyang police, and is currently kept at Zhenping Detention Center.
• Li Ziying -- a nurse at a hospital in Nanyang City Oilfield , was kidnapped by police in late 2001, and is presently held at Shangzhuang Detention Center.
• Shi Yong -- Nanyang City Oilfield worker, was detained in late 2001, and is currently detained at Nanyang Second Detention Center.

A portion of the Nanyang Dafa practitioners who are still being illegally detained at the Shibalihe Female Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City by December 2002:

• Fan Jinping -- Went to appeal for Dafa in Beijing in late 2000, and was detained in Nanyang Detention Center. Presently she is held at Shibalihe Female Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City.
• Dang Xiuzhi -- Nanyang refrigeration factory employee, was kidnapped at home by the Nanyang police in 2000. Currently she is held at Shibalihe Female Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City.
• Zhang Qing -- Kidnapped by the Nanyang police, and is presently held at Shibalihe Female Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City.
• Gao Yuqing - Kidnapped by the Nanyang police, and is presently held at Shibalihe Female Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City.
• Li Shumei -- Nanyang diesel engine factory worker, was kidnapped by Nanyang police when she went to validate Dafa in Beijing in 2000. Currently she is detained at Shibalihe Female Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City.
• Xu Yunpu -- Kidnapped by Nanyang police. Currently she is detained at Shibalihe Female Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City.
• Li Jinying (female), Wang Xiuyun (female), Du Shuhui (female), and Xiao Zhang -- were kidnapped by Nanzhao police while they were distributing Dafa literature in Nanzhao County in April 2002. Police from Nanhedian Police Station robbed them of over 1000 Yuan cash and a cell phone [the average monthly salary of an urban Chinese worker is approx. 500 Yuan]. Until December of 2002, Li Jinying, Wang Xiuyun, and Du Shuhui are still illegally held at Nanzhao County Detention Center.
• Wang Wanrong (female) -- Nanyang City Oilfield employee. Was kidnapped by Nanzhao County police in May 2002. A Dafa literature distribution center was damaged. The police took away a printer, over 60 copies of Dafa books, thousands of copies of Dafa literature, a television, a cell phone, a beeper, and some cash. Dafa practitioner Wang Wanrong was sent to Shibalihe Female Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City in May.

• Wancheng District public security captain: Wang Taicheng. Assistant captain: Duan Xiancheng. Instructor: Zhao Zengyi.
• Xinhua Police Station phone: 011-86-377-3222755.
• Xinhua Police Station perpetrators Qin Jianyong and Du Jianwei. These two and other evil police often torment Dafa practitioners at their homes, and frequently kidnap practitioners, ransack their homes, tap their phones, and ambush practitioners.
