Crimes Perpetrated by the Jianghan District, Wuhan City Brainwashing Staff

(Clearwisdom.net) Since the first half of 2002, the authorities in Jianghan District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province have been using brainwashing sessions to torture Falun Dafa practitioners who have been in their custody for a long time yet refuse to give in. These practitioners were forced to remain in a standing position and not allowed to sleep. Those who lost consciousness would be held in separate cells, and when they regained consciousness, they would be ordered to stand up again. In the brainwashing center, practitioners would be beaten and sworn at. Dafa practitioner Yang Zhenwu was taken to Jianghan brainwashing center after being released from illegal imprisonment in Hewan. Some of the staff members at the brainwashing center behaved even worse than wild beasts. They applied electric shocks to male practitioners' genitals and to female practitioners' breasts. The torture would routinely last for hours.

One Dafa practitioner from Hunan was arrested at Yangcha Lake, Jianghan District, Wuhan City. He and five other Dafa practitioners were transferred to the brainwashing center of Jianghan District. There were large patches of cigarette burns on his face. At about 6 o'clock one evening, Policeman Qu Sheng kicked and punched two female Dafa practitioners. As a result, one female practitioner spit up blood and lost consciousness. Afterwards, staff members were seen carrying out a basin of bloody water from her room. At midnight the following day, the policemen inhumanly tortured both male and female Falun Dafa practitioners. The policemen turned the volume of the television set very high, but the painful screams could still be heard.

Political Instructor Cao Jin of the Jianghan Police Sub-Bureau was in a drunken rage. He and policeman Qu Sheng, Ye Zuyuan (a doctor from the No. 11 Hospital), Liang Xingfang (from Bureau of Justice) and Wang (a teacher) started to cruelly torture Dafa practitioners. They whipped the practitioners with bamboo sticks and sealed their mouths shut. They used electric batons to shock the practitioners' sensitive areas, and kicked and punched them, shaking the roof of the room with their kicks. One Dafa practitioner lost consciousness for the entire night. At about 5 o'clock in the morning, policeman Qu Sheng reported that the practitioner looked like she was dying. Only then did he call in staff members to treat the injured Falun Dafa practitioner. The condition of the practitioner is still unknown.
