Practitioner He Yuanchao was illegally detained at Kunming City's Forced Labor Camp. People from the National Security Committee of Panzhihua City's police department have secretly transferred him to another place.

Recently, twenty determined Dafa practitioners at Anshan City's Forced Labor Camp were merged into a "direct-control" division. Officials are using various excruciating means to torture practitioners both mentally and physically. These practitioners' situation is very dangerous. We hope that practitioners will send forth the most determined and purest righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors in other dimensions that are persecuting Dafa.

The following practitioners are being tortured at Zhengzhou City's No. 1 Detention Center. They were so badly injured that they could no longer speak and had to be sent to the hospital. The practitioners are: Jin Qiqin, Jin Hongjiang, Jin Hongwu from the No.1 Group, No.1 Village of Baiguo Township, Dabashan Dazhu Town, Wanyuan City, Sichuan Province, Ming Zaiwen and his son Ming Xinyong from Wushe Zhongyuan Building of Huilong Village, Zhongxin Town, Wusheng County, Sichuan Province.

During the 16^th Party Congress, policemen from Mishan City arrested blacklisted Dafa practitioners all over the city, including practitioners who had abandoned their homes to avoid further persecution. The practitioners having been arrested are to be held for a long time unless they hand in a 5,000 Yuan fine [500 Yuan is the average monthly income in urban areas of China; in rural areas it is 200 Yuan] and write a so-called "Guarantee Statement" [A statement to declare that he or she is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners.].

Liu Yongguo, 55, is a Dafa practitioner from Shihe Town, Jinzhou District. The police arrested him and ransacked his home. Mr. Liu is now detained at Jinzhou District's Detention Center, and the police are planning to send him to a forced labor camp for further persecution.

At present, police departments in some cities are installing so-called "Integrated Security Systems." For example, the authorities from Jiangbei Police Precinct and Jiangdong Police Precinct in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province have installed cameras on many roads. These projects cost huge amounts of money, and they are a reflection of the decline of social order under Jiang's dictatorship. We hope that fellow practitioners who are doing truth-clarification work in these cities will pay attention to their safety.

On January 4, 2003, about ten Dafa practitioners in a county in Hebei Province gathered together to study Master's "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A." and successfully shared their experiences. They came to a clearer understanding that at present we should consistently do the three things well - study the Fa, send righteous thoughts and clarify the truth - to welcome the great moment when the Fa rectifies the human world.
